Shenzhen Bay - Coastal Park
XO Projects presenting one segment from the Skyline designs (in collaboration with LAB), where the exclusively pedestrian network of bridges extends into the green central park. From there it crosses the existing highway along the waterfront.
The effect is a flood absorbing, coastal promenade, no-longer disconnected by cars, designed flexibly for commercial and public events. Recreational routes along the water are integrated into the pathways that lead back to the central financial district.

It has an artificial lake, well connected bicycle lanes, and large area of vegetations and river system, despite being just a road away from the largest electronic market in China, Huaqiangbei, it is one of the best designed and managed eco-urban friendly park in China.
