We stayed in Imperial Heritage Hotel on our second day. The hotel location is very good. It is near shopping malls and tourist attractions. The hotel is okay for a day stay. Its cheap also. I booked using booking.com.
Duck Tour - One of the attraction (ride) that we tried is the duck tour. A lay back touring bandar hilir of malacca,Takes about 45 minutes from the meeting up point and ends it. The tour excites when it goes into the water. It was a great experience to try.
Keblang Original Coconut Shake - Is a one must try food/desert in Melaka. Very nice coconut shake with vanilla ice cream and its very cheap. It is located in Jalan Klebang Besar slightly away from shopping center but it's worth the try.
Baba Charlie Cafe - Its also a must try when you visit Melaka. Its recommend to come here in the morning as the cakes will be sold out by noon time. Unfortunately we went there in the afternoon so we didn't have a chance to try their Nyonya cakes. We had their laksa, sea food fried rice & sea food bee hoon. The food also very nice.

Malacca River Walking Tour in Melaka, Malaysia
In our latest travel video we decide to take a walking tour along the Malacca River in Melaka, Malaysia. Waking up early was the right decision as we beat the heat and humidity that follow several hours later. As we walked along the river we noticed a series of cafes and guest houses. Further along there was a section of buildings covered in graffiti and murals. On the other side of the river we noticed a traditional kampong style of housing. Overall, it was a great way to spend the morning and best of all it was entirely free.

The Melaka River was once in a pretty nasty state, but the authorities realized its tourism potential and cleaned it up. A flotilla of small boats transports sightseers up and down past historic buildings, old warehouses (godowns), interesting mangrove stands, churches, and villages. The 1998 Sean Connery movie Entrapment was partially filmed here. Tours last about 45 minutes in boats ranging from 20- to 40-seaters, and normally a minimum of eight passengers is required before departure. Take a taxi to the jetty at Taman Rempah, about 20 minutes from Melaka town (about RM20). You can request beforehand to be dropped at the jetty beside the Maritime Museum instead of traveling back up river, but it's not advisable to take the boat from that jetty, as it's not a normal stop:
Melaka River is a river which flows through the middle Malacca Town in the Malaysian state of Malacca. It was once an important trade route during the heyday of Malacca Sultanate in the 15th century. It has lost most of this function in the present and is a mere tourist attraction.

The Malacca River is the river that cuts across Malacca town, on its way to the Straits of Malacca. It separates the civic district clustered at the foot of St Paul's Hill, from the residential and commercial district of Heeren Street and Jonker Street. A flotilla of small boats transports sightseers up and down past historic buildings, old warehouses (godowns), interesting mangrove stands, churches, and villages. The 1998 Sean Connery movie Entrapment was partially filmed here. Tours last about 45 minutes in boats ranging from 20- to 40-seaters, and normally a minimum of eight passengers is required before departure.
You can departure on Muara Jetty, next to Quayside Heritage Centre, close to the Maritime Museum easily recognisable by the replica of the Portuguese ship Flor De la Mar. From here the cruise takes you upstream as far as Taman Rempah jetty where the boat turns around and brings you back to the starting point.
