MELBOURNE EXHIBITION & CONVENTION CENTRE | South Wharf, Melbourne, Australia
This is the Melbourne Exhibition & Convention Centre in South Wharf, Melbourne, Australia.
This is where the big exhibitions are held in Melbourne.
On this particular day, they had some sort of gym/exercise exhibition going on.
I was wondering why there were so many buff people around the area that day. It made me feel small lol
But this building structure is quite interesting. I love how the pillars outside of the building are all on a slant.
It looks very symmetrical and is great for all those Instagram snaps.
It's also a great area to just walk around if it's a nice sunny day like this.
Be sure to check it out, if you are in the area. But I wouldn't go out of my way for it ;)

Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (2010)
Located at Southbank, the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre is part of an AUD 1 billion integrated mixed-use development that includes the Hilton Hotel South Wharf, designed by Woods Bagot and NH Architecture for the Plenary Group Consortium.
The triangular form of the building relates to its site, a key focal point for Melbourne's urban axis that runs through the Central Business District, Docklands and the Yarra River.
At its core is the 5000-seat Plenary Hall, conceived as a building within a building. This fan-shaped auditorium can be divided into three separate stages and is clad in timber, reflecting the textural qualities of the location's maritime history.

Melbourne Convention und Exhibition Centre.
The Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre is the name given to two adjacent buildings next to the Yarra River in South Wharf, an inner-city suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Owner and manager of the venues is the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Trust. he Melbourne Exhibition Centre was opened on 14 February 1996, and hosts thousands of large exhibitions, some being annual events.
It has a pillarless floor space of 30,000 square metres, making it the largest pillarless floor space in the southern hemisphere. This building is also known as Jeff's Shed after the then premier of Victoria, Jeff Kennett.
The building was designed by Denton Corker Marshall, an architectural firm responsible for many of Melbourne's larger buildings through the early 1990s, and features their characteristic blade entrance. In 1998 a covered footbridge was erected between the Exhibition and Convention centres, parallel to the Spencer Street Bridge.
