The scent of roasting coffee beans wafts through the air in #Melbourne. This city is serious about its coffee, and if you’re game, you can base an entire Melbourne #visit around sampling the offerings from local cafés.
Want more than a caffeine buzz from your Melbourne #vacation? You’re in luck. Melbourne sits on the banks of the Yarra River, and you’ve got your pick of cathedrals, parks, and giant buildings to explore, as well as an extensive streetcar network to help you get from one place to the next.
Melbourne’s locals love art, and the inner-city laneways are jammed with street artists painting over the external walls of buildings. Don’t worry; these artists have a permit and are sanctioned by the city. A visit to Luna Park™ is also a must, when staying in Melbourne. Established in 1912, the theme park features one of the world’s oldest roller coasters and a number of additional vintage rides.

Melbourne, the capital of Victoria, is the second largest city in Australia.Melbourne was originally settled by graziers, John Batman being the first. He claimed land just north of Port Phillip Bay, whilst other graziers also decided to occupy areas near the Yarra River, but without the necessary permission to colonise.
Melbourne's multicultural atmosphere is set amongst Victorian-era buildings and gorgeous parkland.

Melbourne - City Video Guide
Melbourne is situated in the southern Australian state of Victoria, on the shores of Port Phillip Bay, and is often ranked as one of the world's most livable cities.
The city's main square, Federation Square effortlessly blends edgy, modern design with elegant architecture and is overlooked by the grandeur of St. Paul's Cathedral. 'Fed Square' is also home to Melbourne Visitor Center and the Australian Center of the Moving Image.
Great artworks and an impressive stained-glass ceiling can be seen at the National Gallery of Victoria, while the Bathing Boxes of Brighton Beach comprise one of the country's most photographed landmarks.
Melbourne is a city that takes food seriously, as the fresh produce at Queen Victoria Market shows. The international cuisines brought to Australia by generations of migrants are showcased on famous food strips like Lygon Street and Acland Street.
Visitors can get the best view of Melbourne from the 88th floor of the Eureka Tower. The city panoramas from the observation deck are pure gold.

MELBOURNE CITY CENTRE NIGHT TIME AUSTRALIA 4K
MELBOURNE CITY CENTRE NIGHT TIME AUSTRALIA 4K
Melbourne city centre (also known colloquially as simply The City or The CBD[3]) is the central built up area of the city of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, centred on the Hoddle Grid, the oldest part of the city laid out in 1837, and includes its fringes. It is not to be confused with the larger local government area of the City of Melbourne which includes this area and the inner suburbs around it.
The boundaries are not precise as it is not currently an official area, but the area of boundaries of the Australian Bureau of Statistics Statistical Area Level 2 'Melbourne'[4] represents the commonly understood area of what is usually meant by 'the CBD' or 'the city'; this includes the Hoddle Grid, plus the area of parallel streets just to the north up to Victoria Street including the Queen Victoria Market, but not the Flagstaff Gardens, and the area between Flinders Street and the Yarra river.
The Central City is the core of Greater Melbourne's metropolitan area, and is a major financial centre in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region. It is home to Melbourne's famed alleyways and arcades and is renowned for its distinct blend of contemporary and Victorian architecture, and home to five of the six tallest buildings in Australia. In recent times, it has been placed alongside New York City and Berlin as one of the world's great street art meccas, and designated a City of Literature by UNESCO in its Creative Cities Network

Start at the State Library Victoria to see this year’s feature show, a Very Melbourne Night Before Christmas, written by Marieke Hardy and narrated by Lee Lin Chin.
Then wander onward to see the epic static Christmas projections on the Melbourne Town Hall and, for the first time, Princes Bridge.
