The Victorian Race Walking Club races weekly at Middle Park in Melbourne, Australia. This snippet shows some of our races held on 23 July 2011 when some 80 walkers contested races from U9 1.5km through to 10km Open. Some of our top walkers were present as you can see from the 10 minute clip.

I will get back to the story of my diagnosis, sorry I dropped out for a week - was pretty heavy going for me and I needed a break, plus I wasnt camera worthy with a face full of zits :) This is a slideshow I made of today's MS Fun Run 2011 at Albert Park Lake, Melbourne. It was a clear sunny but chilly day that was thoroughly enjoyed by all. I GOT THE DATE WRONG ON THE SLIDE- IT'S JUNE 5TH!!!!! DOH! It's my first ever attempt at a slideshow - so be gentle, haha...Today's fun run has raised over $850,000 for the cause - well done 'us'!!!

Abandoned Australian Wildlife park. Decaying, left to rot.
This wildlife park was closed down in 2012 due to offences against the wildlife.
They also did not hold a license to display native animals to the public.
Due to the operator of this park not being able to obtain the license needed to run this park, they were evicted and surrendered all the animals to the rspca.
Since then this park has just been sitting, nothing so far has been done with it.
There's no news on if its being sold or going to be turned into something else.
Will just have to keep an eye on this place and see what happens with it.
The Shark that is displayed is a 5 metre Great White shark. *it is dead and is a taxidermy piece*...It died in 1998 in tuna fishing nets in South Australia. It is being preserved in this tank in formaldehyde.
