After finishing the 5-day Active-Norway.com Biking Hardangerfjord Self-Guided Bike Tour, Eric and I found ourselves in beautiful Rosendal, Norway with a rest day on our hands. Eric wanted to sleep, but I wanted to hike and explore. So I left Eric at the Rosendal Tourist Hotel where we were staying... and I hiked on my own up to the top of the nearby Malmangernuten mountain. The hike took about 5 hours to complete and it was far from easy, but the views from the top made the whole thing worth it. Check out those views!
After my hike, I returned to the hotel in Rosendal where I found Eric had hardly left his bed all day. We then went to the supermarket to get some snack food, walked to the nearby Stone Park and played on the swings/see-saw, and then ate a delicious meal at our hotel.

Topptur til Melderskin - sjølve dronninga blant fjella i Hordaland, 1426 m o h. Turen startar ved Kletta, 161 m o h. Bratt sti oppover til Skarshaugen 900 m o h. Vidare steinur til 1200 m.o.h der det er eit platå innover før bratt stigning opp til platået på toppen av Melderskin. Eit flott rundskue over fjella med Folgefonna i aust til Siggjo på Bømlo i vest. Turen kan anbefalast på det sterkaste.
