A visit to one of the age old watermills in Cornwall, beautiful and great cream teas. Bit 'spooky' in places but old buildings are entitled to have a past and this one certainly has atmosphere and can certainly tell a few stories.
Melinsey Cottage, Veryan, Near Truro, Cornwall.
A sympathetically restored detached cottage, with planning permission to extend. This historic property has been completely modernised. It is situated in a beautiful valley, amongst 12 acres of surrounding gardens and woodland, and circa a one mile walk to Pendower Beach.

Enjoy some great Carne Beach, Portloe and Veryan Coastal Walk scenery with relaxing music to see if you fancy Cornwall Walks whilst on tour England Walking Holidays UK. Along the walk you visit: Carne Beach in Gerrans Bay with Pennarin Point, Tregagle Hole, Malnamare Point around to Nare Head; then in Veryan Bay, Rosen Cliff, Kiberick Cove, Parc Caragloose Cove and Portloe; then Trewartha and Melinsey Mill inland to Pendower Beach back on the coast. Scenery includes: fabulous scenic views from the South West Coast Path; views of Carne Beach and a splendid view around Gerrans Bay; a great view eastward to Dodman Point on the other side of Veryan Bay; a picturesque view of Portloe; Gull Rock Island offshore; rolling green countryside with flower meadows and lovely woodland. Along the route you see coastal dwellings and a church. You may see sailing boats around the coast and may also encounter cattle grazing.

Enjoy some relaxing music with 30 scenic photographs taken on a relaxing coastal walk around Portloe & Veryan, Cornwall, England, UK. This lovely coastal walk around Portloe & Veryan provides fabulous scenic views from the South West Coast Path. It starts with views of Carne Beach. It then passes Pennarin Point, Tregagle Hole and Malnamare Point, on the way to Nare Head, where there is a splendid view around Gerrans Bay. Next it passes Rosen Cliff where you get a view eastward to Dodman Point on the other side of Veryan Bay. Then it passes Kiberick Cove, Parc Caragloose Cove and visits the picturesque Portloe. The inland return route vists Trewartha, Veryan and Melinsey Mill back to the coast path at Pendover Beach then back to Carne Beach.
