Our Website is here to provide you with all the details about our park and shop.
Information and pictures regarding what there is to see and do, latest news on all new arrivals of animals and birds and any changes made to the park.
Information on our shop, from our imported birds seeds, accessories and cages, to regular updates to our stock list of available birds and animals for sale.
At the end of your tour, we guarantee that you will be left feeling that a visit to our park is definitely worth a visit or two.

Melios Pet Park
What started as a young boy’s dream and a passion for birds, is now a successful park that is visited by thousands each year and has become a favourite attraction for families, tourists and animal lovers.
At the age of eight, Menelaos Menelaou started his own collection of birds, and over the years this has grown larger and larger. After training as a mechanic from 1979, he decided that the collection of birds as well as the experience and knowledge gained was enough for him to turn to a 2nd occupation.
In 1989, he left Strovolos and moved with his family to Ayios Trimithias. He brought with him his birds, which by this time had grown into a large selection. As there was plenty of space available, it allowed him to gradually start to increase the number of cages, the variety and quantity of birds and also animals to his business.
By 2000 he had the biggest collection of birds and also animals in Cyprus. This also meant that he needed to be dedicated to this job full time and thus Melios Pet Centre ltd was established.

Congo Melios Zoo 2016 - Help us save him!
Unfortunately, even though everyone tried, Arturo died in zoo enclosure and captivity in July 2016, fighting loneliness and trying to adapt away from his natural environment. Congo was born in a zoo park in Belgium in 2013. Even though he was born in captivity he was living in a large enclosure, with landscape that matched his needs, clean water and shadow. Congo moved to Cyprus, at Melio's Zoo a year ago. He is still 3 years old and he already shows signs of insanity. Not only continuously pacing and circling but he is also lethargic with signs of depression. Please help us save him.
