Wine in the Woods! | Columbia, Maryland
It had been YEARS, but my friend Ashley and I finally made it back to the Wine in the Woods festival. Wine in the Woods is a two-day wine festival that happens every year on the grounds outside the Merriweather Post Pavilion concert venue. I think the last time we went was around a decade ago. Wine in the Woods is all Maryland wineries (I didn't see a single booth from elsewhere) and tons of samples. It's a great way to discover new wineries, learn about the state of Maryland and have a relaxing day. It was VERY hot, but we had an awesome time!

As summer time approaches, more people will be attending concerts at Merriweather Post Pavilion. Protect yourself against a Merriweather Post Pavilion DUI arrest.
How to prevent a Merriweather Post Pavilion DUI Arrest?
Merriweather Post Pavilion is an outdoor concert venue located within Symphony Woods, a 40-acre lot of preserved land in the heart of the planned community of Columbia, Maryland. In 2010, Merriweather Post Pavilion was named the second best amphitheater in the United States by Billboard magazine.
Whether in Columbia, Ellicott City, or Laurel, Howard County Police Officers are patrolling after Merriweather Post Pavilion concerts for drunk drivers. Remember, you can be stopped for minor violations, like having a break light out. The Howard County Police will use any reason stop late night drivers in order to investigate possible driving under the influence. Finally, the Maryland State Police also patrol Howard County along I-95.
Many Maryland State Police vehicles contain video cameras that can record your Merriweather Post Pavilion DUI arrest. In these cases, the video does one of two things: (1) confirms your defense that you weren't intoxicated, or (2) demonstrates that you were in fact visibly intoxicated.
