NO TRIPOD! So it's a little shaky... but not too bad.
Lower Mesa Falls, Idaho June 2015
The little-known 1-mile hike down to the edge of precipice is definitely worth, though a little scary if you have kids since there's no handrail.

PanAm MGs 4, Over The Douglas Pass 4-21-2015
Hwy 139, The Douglas Pass between Loma CO on the south end, and Rangely CO on the north end. 5 PanAm Australian MGs leave the Colorado National Monument near Fruita, and head for Vernal Ut, but things happen, and Bud was only one of two. Bud has a car collection, mostly pre-war automobiles, and his car museum will be open to the public later this summer in 2015. While the MGs were having a late lunch at the diner across from the collection, in walks Bud, and persuades them to stay in Rangely, the MGs went to Vernal the next day. Rangely has a new motel for stay overs, diners and cafes around town. Drive up hwy 139 to Canyon Pintado, on the Douglas highway. Over 200 Native American sites located. Markers posted along the road indicate trails leading from parking lots to several panel sites. This area was home to Native Americans even before the Utes came here about 800 years ago. Bring a picnic lunch and plan to spend the better part of a day in this area. Many more sites are located on the Dragon Road south of Rangely as well. Or travel west into Utah for the Dinosaur Wall, truly amazing dig.
