Mesnes Park, Wigan, Lancashire, England. With lottery funding the magnificent park, just a few minutes walk from the town centre, has undergone a complete face lift. When the gate house is completed the whole park will be transformed back to its former Victorian splendor. A new fountain, a copy of the Coalbrookdale fountain in Lurgan Ireland, is also to be installed to complete the whole project. With beautiful gardens and a little pond it's ideal for weekend walks and in my case flying the drone. The pavilion building offer's some of the best ice cream in Wigan, ideal for summer afternoons!
