A Chinese Christian Wedding Metropolitan United Church Toronto
Distance was never a hindrance for this lovely couple. A Chinese descents who met each in their early adulthood. They were separated for a long time, but that did not affect their love for each other. Nathan and Linda are a true testimony of love is just a test to see how far love can travel.
Our bride, Linda is a very strong woman with a big personality that complemented the very shy Nathan. Their very intimate wedding took place at the very charming Metropolitan United Church in Toronto. This is just one of two wedding celebrations they will have. Both planned a wedding in China as well where they will be reunited with people close to their hearts.
Here is their wedding video here in Canada and we hope that you will feel the love that these two have for each other.

Organ at Metroplitain United Church in Toronto
A small inkling of what a Casavant Frere organ can do. The organ is playing from a file recorded by the organist. Software to do so by Cssavant Freres.
Metropolitan's organ is the largest pipe organ in Canada and one of the largest church organs in the world. It has 8300 pipes ranging from a 32-foot (9.75m) low C to a half-inch (1 cm) high C. The organ console has five manuals (keyboards) for a total of 305 keys with 32 pedals for the low notes and 120 stops used to vary the tonal colour. Built by Casavant Frères of Quebec in 1930, the Metropolitan organ has always had a tonal palette which places it among the finest recital instruments. A gallery division of seven stops installed in 1998 makes it possible to play antiphonal music of contrasting sounds from the front and back of the church. An upgrade in 2005 to an electronic system now makes it possible to move the console for better visibility. The Metropolitan organ is in constant use for church services, Noon at Met Concerts, teaching, and student recitals.

Tour of The Elgin & Winter Garden Theatre and The Metropolitan United Church
A NEAT group from CultureLink enjoyed a Tour of The Elgin & Winter Garden Theatre and The Metropolitan United Church at 12:00-2:00 pm, on Saturday, May 25, 2015. This event got support from Playing for Keeps. We explored the hundred years old theater and the sanctuary of the second church built in McGill Square. The church was also built in the early 20 century and it is a new site of Door Open Ontario 2014. While enjoying the grandeur, we also learned extraordinary stories from the heart of Toronto.
