Mevagissey - A Video Tour Through a Beautiful Fishing Village in Cornwall, UK
Mevagissey is a quaint little fishing port village in Cornwall, England. It is situated just south of St Austell and not too far from Plymouth. The streets in town, as you can see by this video, are very narrow and lined with great shops, pubs and restaurants. I found the food to be outstanding everywhere we ate.
At the end of June every year Mevagissey is host to Feast Week with lots of fun family activities, live music and street dances. There is also a fun carnival and a great fireworks show at the end of Feast Week.
Some really cool places to visit in and around Mevagissey are The Eden Project (the largest indoor rainforest in the world), The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Dodman Point, Mevagissey Aquarium and a big Model Railway exhibit.
