RIDING A BICYCLE IN MEXICO CITY | Eileen Aldis
One of the best free activities you can do in Mexico City is riding a bicycle. On Sundays, the city shuts down a large part of the downtown streets to curb air pollution. There is a fantastic feeling of community as people fill the car-free streets. You can rent a bicycle for free and explore. After riding around we walked through Chapultepec Park towards the castle, stopped for tacos (because TACOS), and then visited the Museum of Modern Art which is free on Sundays. The city really comes to life on Sundays so it's an ideal time to get out and about.

Biking at Paseo de la Reforma | FREE Bike Rentals | English | Subtitles | Mexico City | Mexico
In this vlog we are biking along the Paseo de la Reforma, one of Mexico's biggest and busiest downtown streets. Sound dangerous? Not on Sundays!
Each Sunday, the road is closed off for a few hours to traffic to allow pedestrians to walk, and more commonly, bike around the main streets. Here you can see all the statues and monuments Mexico City has to offer.
It was a fun day full of laugh and good riding. Enjoy!
Along the Paseo de la Reforma, there are multiple places where you can get a bike rental. Who would have thought that one of the best ways to explore the city was to get a bike rental in Mexico City (Cuidad de Mexico).
This is one of the best things to do in Mexico City. What other city have you been to that not only has cheap bike rentals, but FREE bikes rentals! In my experience, you can only get FREE bike rentals in Mexico City.
Please note, this video is in English, not Spanish but there are subtitles. There are subtitles in English, French Subtitles and Spanish Subtitles.
