Mexico City Travel Guide
Our Mexico City Travel Guide! This wonderful city is truly the star of one our best episodes ever.
I have never fallen in love with a city quite as quickly as I fell in love with Mexico City. The Mexican capital is everything I want in a city; sprawling, loud, exciting, creative, friendly, and absolutely delicious.
Our Mexico City guide is one of our longest episodes ever and I feel every second is justified as this city has so much to offer. The food section alone is packed full of deliciousness - don't watch on an empty stomach!
Thanks to our friends at Eastpak for helping us bring this episode to you. Visit for more.

Everything you heard is true. You can call Mexico City: dangerous, beautiful, dirty, cultural, crowded, street food paradise, etc. In fact, the New York Times named Mexico City as the number one travel destination, calling it “the metropolis that has it all”. Mexico City is becoming recognized as a world class metropolis in terms of authenticity, economy, architecture, cuisine and culture. Yet, many travelers avoid Mexico City for its reputation so this video is to show you a little of this 22+ million people civilization.

This is one of the best walks in Mexico City to watch the historic Center, the buildings with lots of glass windows and pure design. Beautiful Mexico City in HD
I created this video montage of my trip to Mexico City, Mexico that took place from January 1st to January 12th 2014. Mexico City is an impressive modern city of over 20 Million people. I was really impressed by the city, it's full of ancient ruins, museums, skyscrapers, monuments, statues, parks and fountains. The Mexico City Metro, is definitely the best way to move around the city, as traffic is unbelievable. Even with 2 weeks of vacation I simply did not have enough time to visit every attraction. Paseo de la Reforma is a stunning tree lined avenue full of roundabouts and monuments. A trip to Mexico City is not complete without a visit to the Teotihuacan Archeological site. On a good note, I was never concerned for my safety or felt threatened in any way.
Hey guys here is a link to the photographs in the video. I own the photos and you may download them for personal use ONLY (e.g. wallpaper)

Mexico City, Mexico 4K Aerial Drone Footage! Last month I visited Mexico City for the first time! During my five days there I captured some incredible aerial drone footage with my DJI Mavic Pro drone!
MY FILM MAKING KIT ►
I flew my drone around Condesa the neighborhood I stayed in I also flew it around different neighborhoods in the city to get some different perspectives. There were so many beautiful beaches and the views are insane!
I always travel with the DJI Mavic Pro during my travels because I believe it is the best drone on the market for anyone travel blogger, travel vlogger or travel enthusiast.
If you want to make awesome travel videos then you should get the DJI Mavic Pro. It's light and easy to store in your backpack, plus it gets some pretty epic aerial 4k drone footage!

We're Shocked By Mexico City! Roma Norte & La Condesa Walking Tour
Welcome to Mexico City, what a shock! Today we're on a free walking tour in Roma Norte & La Condesa and we're seriously impressed. Click here to explore your creativity and get 2 free months of Premium Membership:
We're beyond happy we came to Mexico City - this place is amazing! In saying that, Mexico City is huge and this video and our experience so far is purely based in Roma Norte & La Condesa alone... but it makes sense now why so many people said not to miss this place while we travel in Mexico.
Mexico City has different reports online about the amount of people, but its in the 20 million range, so theres a ridiculous amount of neighbourhoods and less safe areas. We're staying in Roma Norte after doing a lot of research, La Condesa was the other potential option, but we knew we wanted to explore both.
Today we took a free walking tour that luckily explores both Roma Norte and Condesa — 2 incredibly cool and surprising neighbourhoods that feel very safe. We'll be sharing a video soon taking about safety in Mexico and how we felt, along with answering a bunch of other questions.
Here's the link to Skillshare to get 2 free months of Premium Membership:
The free walking tour we took through Roma Norte and Condesa is linked below. Of course nothing in this world is free, so it is expected that you tip:

WELCOME TO MEXICO CITY - TOUR AND VLOG
Mexico City is the cosmopolitan capital of Mexico that is home to 22 million people, a vibrant culinary scene, rich Aztec and colonial heritage, archaeological sights, and many surprises. It is the political, financial and cultural hub of the country.
This video will cover the top spots to photograph and sightsee in Mexico City including:
1:57 - 2:49
1. Chapultepec Park
Chupultepec Park is more like a forest and is about twice the size of Central Park.
2:12 - 2:41
2. Chapultepec Castle
The only real castle that housed a reigning monarchy in North America.
2:54 - 4:00
3. Museo Nacional de Antropología
There is no wonder this museum got an average five star rating out of about 10K reviews on Trip Advisor- it is one of the finest anthropology museums in the world.
4:35 - 5:11
4. Zocalo
Built on top of an Aztec temple, this plaza is the second largest plaza in the world and epicenter of Mexico City's political seat.
5:30 - 6:30
5. Museo Soumaya
Museo Soumaya is in the Polanco district, commissioned by Carlos Slim (the richest person in the world) to house part of his art collection. The architecture is stunning. Best of all, the collection is free to view.
0:20 - 1:35
6. Xochimilco
This area has been preserved and is a UNESCO World Heritage site that has been described as the Venice of Mexico.
1:42
7. Frida Khalo
The museum is one of Mexico City's most vised museums, and rightfully so as she and her husband are arguably Mexico's most notable artists of the 20th Century.
6:55 - 7:10
8. Reforma Street - Paseo de la Reforma
Reforma Street is one of the most beautiful boulevards in Mexico City, modeled after European boulevards.
9. Casa de los Azulejos or House of Tiles
Built in the 18th century, this architectural gem is located a few blocks from the Zocalo and features white and blue tiles on the outsides, balconies and an indoor courtyard.
10. Palacio de Correos de Mexico or Post Office
This building was built at the beginning of the 20th Century and features eclectic architecture, a unique staircase, dome, marble floors and elegant façade.
11. Biblioteca Vasconcelos - Library
This library has stunning modern architecture. View the design from the interior and go a few floors up to get a grand look at the stacks of books.
12. Observation Decks
The tallest observation deck is from Torre Latinamericano. However, some hotels and rooftop restaurants have excellent views of the city for the photos of the panoramic skyline, i.e the Hilton Reforma.
5:19
13. Palacio de Bellas Artes
This is one of the most prominent cultural centers in Mexico City, recognized by it's prominent yellow dome.
4:48
14. The Metropolitan Cathedral
This is the largest Cathedral in Latin America built on the site of the Templo Mayor of the Aztec city Tenochtitlan.
15. Gran Hotel Ciudad De Mexico
This hotel was featured in the opening scene in the movie Spectre and is noted for its historic sophistication and Old World elegance.

#MexicoCity welcomes visitors to its warm cultural heart. A #vacation here should feature the Centro Histórico district, where 1500 heritage buildings vie for your attention, including museums and galleries.
Head to Chapultepec Park, one of the largest urban parks in the world. Pay your respects to the Niños Heroes, a monument which honors the six boy soldiers who gave their lives defending Castillo de Chapultepec. Today, the castle serves as the National Museum of History. At Xochimilco, simply float away on a riot of color on the last of the city’s Aztec canals.
In the early 20th century the district’s artists, writers and intellectuals inspired not only Mexico, but the entire world. #Visit The Blue House, the birthplace of Frieda Kahlo, and the Museo Casa Estudio Diego Rivera y Frida Kahlo, where these two giants of Mexican art worked, lived and loved.

So, this is a Mexico City nightlife video. I know that most of you are used to photography videos. But, alas, this is a channel about life as a photographer - behind the scenes. And, sometimes, even photographers go out on the town.
There are lots of great bars in Mexico City, and it was nice to have a local show us to some of the best places for nightlife.
We started at a bar called Jules Basement in Polanco. which is a bit of a speakeasy bar. Apparently, those are quite popular in Mexico City.
Then, we went to the best nightclub in Mexico City, a place called Joplin. This nightclub was awesome. Lots of great music and the Dj was on point.
Oh, and did I mention we went to see Mexican wrestling? Lucha Libre is a weird thing, but it is fun!
All in all, a great night out in Mexico City. We focused on the Polanco neighbourhood for nightlife.
Tomorrow, I'll be back with another Mexico YouTube video as we head out on an excursion.
