A DAY IN COYOACÁN | MEXICAN FOOD| MEXICO CITY | MEXICO | EP. 19 | THE RUNNING FISH
Hola amigos! Last weekend, my housemate brought me to a place called Coyoacán in Mexico City.
Around the central of Coyoacán, there are many markets. You can find different Mexican food, piñata, local fruits, arts and accessories over there. My favourite is the pork pozole, a kind local Mexican soup.
On the weekend, artists are putting up their artworks for sale in the street. Street performance can usually be found.
10 mins away from the central, there is Frida Kahlo Museum. Remember to book your ticket online, otherwise, the queue will be long, even on weekday.

FREE WALKING TOUR | MEXICO A PIE | MEXICO CITY | CDMX | MEXICO | EP. 17 | THE RUNNING FISH
Hola amigos! Last week, I just arrived at Mexico City. Without knowing much about the city, I signed up a free walking tour by Mexico a Pie.
The whole tour was over 3 hours. We went to places like Metropolitan Cathedral, Templo Mayor, Postal Palace, the House of Tiles, etc. I later found out the whole area that we covered was an UNESCO site.
Our tour guide, Arturo, as well as an archeologist, is so knowledge. He told us many interesting stories about the city and recommended a few places to eat.

►Mexico City street food guide:
I met up with 5 Mexican Guys ( and they just started their channel since I met them, so go check them out!) to go on an ultimate Mexican street food tour of Mexico City. It was one of the greatest food days I had in Mexico, and we tasted so many incredible dishes.
La Esquina del Chilaquil - For breakfast in La Condesa, there’s no better place to check out than La Esquina del Chilaquil, their tortas are delicious.
Price - 40 MXN ($2.14) each
Mercado de San Juan - I wanted to quickly check out this market, but it wasn’t all that busy when we went - there wasn’t too much going on. So we had a quick scorpion and then continued on to the ultimate street food market.
Scorpion - 160 MXN ($8.54) for 4
Mercado de La Merced - Mexico City is packed with street food, but if you want a food experience that’s busy, in your face, and always exciting and delicious, Mercado de la Merced is one of the greatest places to start. You’ll encounter massive amounts of street food that will blow your mind with how delicious they are. Here are the things we ate at the market:
Quesadilla - 57 MXN ($3.04) for 3
Fries tacos - 20 MXN ($1.07) each
Pancita - 40 MXN ($2.14) per bowl
Pambazo
Mamey - 15 MXN ($0.80)
Mango - 15 MXN ($0.80)
Churrería El Moro - This wasn’t street food, but we needed a little afternoon break, and there’s no better spot in Mexico City for churros than Churrería El Moro.
Total price - 439 MXN ($23.44) for all
Esquites - 20 MXN ($1.07) - After walking around El Zocalo - the center of Mexico City, we then had a corn snack os esquites where they add corn, mayo, cheese, and chili salsas to a cup. It’s pretty tasty.
Loncheria La Rambla - Next we tried a Mexican style turkey sandwich - it was alright, but not the best food of the day.
Torta de pavo - 35 MXN ($1.87) each
Taquería Los Cocuyos - And finally to end this Mexico City street food tour with 5 Mexican Guys, we headed to Taquería Los Cocuyos, a legendary taco stall in the heart of the center of the city. The tacos are amazing, and it was the perfect was to end this day of incredible Mexican food.
Tacos de cabeza - 17 MXN ($0.91) each
Again, thank you to Moises and 5 Mexican Guys for reaching out! Check them out here:

Mexico City: Paseo de la Reforma
Paseo de la Reforma is a wide avenue that runs diagonally across the heart of Mexico City. It was designed by Ferdinand von Rosenzweig in the 1860s and modeled after the great boulevards of Europe, such as the Ringstraße in Vienna and the Champs-Élysées in Paris. After the French intervention in Mexico overthrew the constitutional President Benito Juárez, the newly crowned Emperor Maximilian made his mark on the conquered city. He commissioned a grand avenue linking the city center with his imperial residence, Chapultepec Castle, which was then on the southwestern edge of town. The project was originally named Paseo de la Emperatriz (Promenade of the Empress) in honor of Maximilian's consort and second cousin Empress Carlota. After her return to Europe and Maximilian's subsequent execution, the restored Juárez government renamed the Paseo in honor of the Reform War.
It is now home to many of Mexico's tallest buildings such as the Torre Mayor and others in the Zona Rosa. More modern extensions continue the avenue at an angle to the old Paseo. To the northeast it continues toward Tlatelolco, where it changes its name near the Plaza de las Tres Culturas. There it divides into Calzada de Guadalupe and Calzada de los Misterios that continue toward La Villa. Its western portion going west from Chapultepec Park passes south of Polanco on its way through the affluent neighborhood of Lomas de Chapultepec and then into Cuajimalpa and Santa Fe on the outskirts of the city, although when it reaches this point it is more a highway than a promenade.

COST OF LIVING IN MEXICO CITY (2019) | RENT | MEXICO CITY | MEXICO | EP. 20 | THE RUNNING FISH
Hola amigos! Long time no see! I have been traveling to different places in Michoacan. Now, I am in Puebla. A lot of footage is waiting for me to edit. Stay tune! In this video, I will talk about my cost of living in Mexico City. Big city is convenient but easy for me to spend more.
The rent and living space in Mexico City are similar to other big cities. There are so many choices of dinning out, from cheap eats to fine dining. At the end, every thing adds up.
Information online tends to tell us that the cost of living in Mexico is low. Yes, it is lower than at home. But mostly, people don't put clothing, hobby and travelling expenses in their cost when they show you. It seems like living the cheapest is the champion.
Honestly, people from developed countries have expectation on basic living standard. How much you spend depends on what your life standard is.

MEXICO CITY — Zona Rosa, Video Walk 【4K】????????
A Camera Floating Among The Crowd. Walking Around Mexico City, Zona Rosa by Wanna Walk.
This is a new video walk in Ciudad De México, walking in 'Zona Rosa'. This is a trendy neighborhood in Mexico City, popular for its shopping, nightlife and the gay and the new Korean community. Zona Rosa its officially part of Colonia Juárez and it's located just west of the historic center of the city. The atmosphere is very friendly, safe, fun and colorful. You'll see many cool people there. Tourist and local hipsters too. This is a must to walk around.

I´m with Laura, my business partner and Ella Te Explica on YouTube and her brother Diego. We start at The Huntress Diana Fountain (Fuente de la Diana Cazadora). Pass by the Museum of Modern Art (Museo de Arte Moderno) and take a break in front of National Museum of Anthropology (Museo Nacional de Antropología). Then pass by the Angel of Independence (El Ángel) on the way to Palacio de Bellas Artes. In total, the run was about 8 kilometers. Also, in Mexico City you can rent bikes for free along Paseo de la Reforma, you just need your passport and you can check out a bike for 3 hours.
