Darwin Anthropologist, Dr Bill Day presents an illustrated first-hand account of the history of the Larrakia land rights struggle in Darwin in the 1970s up to the giant sell-off of assets to developers Jape, Chin, Gwelo and Halikos since 2006, This power-point presentation includes the more recent struggle to prevent the alienation of more than 400 hectares of land won by Aborigines in the suburbs of Darwin at Kulaluk, One Mile Dam and Knuckeys Lagoon.. Dr Day's address to the Maylands Historical Society in Perth, Western Australia was recorded and edited for this video uploaded to Youtube.
