I feel that this is a very important moment in our history. When I opened the case and I found the mummy in front of me, I had tears. And I had tears because I couldn't believe that this pharaoh is back to Egypt. I have to thank Michael Carlos Museum. By returning this mummy to us, completely free, this is an important message from them to every other museum, telling them that if you have a unique artefact, this unique artefact should be home. And in the same time, this will make us to be more aggressive in asking other countries to return our stolen artefacts back.

STORYLINE
Egypt on Sunday welcomed home the mummy of what is believed to be a legendary pharaoh, 150 years after it was looted from its home.
Welcome Ramses, the builder of esteemed Egypt, sang a chorus of schoolchildren gathered around a box
draped in the Egyptian flag in the entrance hall of the Egyptian Museum as a military band played outside.
The Michael Carlos Museum at Emory University in Atlanta, in the US state of Georgia, had turned over the three-thousand-year-old mummy on Friday.
Museum curators believe the small, shrivelled figure - which will go on display next year at the Luxor Museum - is Ramses I, who ruled Egypt from 1292-1290 BC.
Zahi Hawas, head of Egypt's Supreme Council of Antiquities, praised the handover as a great, civilised gesture,
and appealed to other world museums to follow suit and return Egypt's masterpieces.
He specifically referred to five key artefacts - including the bust of Nefertiti, which is housed in the Berlin Museum, and the Rosetta Stone in the British Museum.
It is clear that the mummy belongs to a king, but there is no hard evidence that the returned mummy belongs to Ramses.
In the absence of a DNA match, scholars have relied on historical, archaeological and other scientific evidence to identify the mummy.
Many cite the position of the mummy's arms: crossed high over his chest in a fashion reserved for royal mummies at the time of Ramses' death.
Some say he bears an undeniable resemblance, especially in the face, to two of his descendants whose mummies have been identified - Seti I and Ramses II.
Hawass has ruled out the possibility of DNA tests, calling them unreliable.
Egyptian antiquity officials have always rejected DNA tests on mummies of pharaohs, possibly fearing the tests could challenge established theories.
The so-called Ramses mummy was the centrepiece of a large Egyptian collection the Emory museum purchased in 1999 from the Niagara Falls Museum in Ontario, Canada.
It is likely that the Ontario Museum received the mummy from a Canadian doctor who had the artefacts smuggled out of Egypt in the early 1860s.
That's about the time tomb raiders discovered a cache of royal mummies near the Valley of the Kings.
It was from that cache that the remains of Ramses I disappeared.
Ramses I, ancestor of Egypt's most illustrious rulers, ruled for only two years.
He founded the 19th Dynasty, becoming the first of 11 rulers named Ramses, including his grandson, Ramses II.
Egypt is plagued by antiquity smuggling, a flourishing business that officials estimate at some one (B) billion US dollars annually.

Piedmont Park, Atlanta, Georgia, United States, North America
Piedmont Park is an urban park in Atlanta, Georgia, located about 1 mile (1.6 km) northeast of Downtown, between the Midtown and Virginia Highland neighborhoods. Originally the land was owned by Dr. Benjamin Walker, who used it as his out-of-town gentleman's farm and residence. He sold the land in 1887 to the Gentlemen's Driving Club, who wanted to establish an exclusive club and racing ground for horse enthusiasts. The Driving Club entered an agreement with the Piedmont Exposition Company, headed by prominent Atlantan Charles A. Collier, to use the land for fairs and expositions and later gave the park its name. The park was originally designed by Joseph Forsyth Johnson to host the first of two major expositions held in the park in the late 19th century. The Piedmont Exposition opened in October 1887 to great fanfare. The event was a success and set the stage for the Cotton States and International Exposition which was held in the park seven years later in 1895. Both exhibitions showcased the prosperity of the region that had occurred during and after the Reconstruction period. In the early 20th century, a redesign plan called the Olmsted plan, was begun by the sons of New York Central Park architect, Frederick Law Olmsted. The effort led to the addition of scenic paths in the park and the joining of the park with the Ansley park system. Over the years, the park has also served as an athletic center for the city. Atlanta's first professional baseball team, the Atlanta Crackers, played in the park from 1902 to 1904. Several important intercollegiate rivalries were also forged in the park including the University of Georgia vs. Georgia Tech baseball rivalry and Georgia versus Auburn football which has been called the Deep South's Oldest Rivalry. Throughout the 20th century, many improvements have been made in the park, including the addition of covered picnic areas, tennis facilities, the Lake Clara Meer dock and visitors center, and two playgrounds. In 2008, a ground-breaking ceremony was held for a 53-acre (210,000 m2) extension to the park. On April 12, 2011, Mayor Kasim Reed cut the ribbon to open the first phase of a major expansion into the northern third of the park. Additional areas at the far north of the park (near Ansley Mall) are to be developed next.

John Burrison on Folklore, Folklife and the Humanities
John Burrison, Regent's Professor of English at Georgia State University, and Jamil Zainaldin, president of the Georgia Humanities Council, talk about folklore, folklife and the humanities in this engaging conversation held at Emory's Fox Center for Humanistic Inquiry on June 25, 2013.
This conversation was sparked by Prof. Burrison's presentation Around the World in Eighty Clays: A Folk-Pottery Travelogue, a series of lectures that look at world-wide ceramic traditions as seen across a range of cultures.
Prof. John Burrison is Regents Professor of English and director of the Folklore Curriculum at Georgia State University, and is the author of Brothers in Clay: The Story of Georgia Folk Pottery (1983) and From Mud to Jug: the Folk Potters and Pottery of Northeast Georgia (2010). He is curator of the Atlanta History Museum's Folklife Gallery and of the Folk Pottery Museum of Northeast Georgia at Sautee Nacoochee. Visits to the British Isles, Germany, and China have opened him to a global perspective on ceramic traditions, leading to his latest lecture series, drawn from his study collection of 18,000 digital images.
The series co-sponsors include the Michael C. Carlos Museum of Emory University; the Atlanta History Center; the Georgia Center for the Book; the Department of English, Georgia State University; and the Center for Creativity & Arts at Emory University.

Companies usually have two distinct approaches to Financial services type of business. One approach would be a bank which simply buys an insurance company or an investment bank, keeps the original brands of the acquired firm, and adds the acquisition to its holding company simply to diversify its earnings. Outside the U.S. (e.g., in Japan), non-financial services companies are permitted within the holding company. In this scenario, each company still looks independent, and has its own customers, etc. In the other style, a bank would simply create its own brokerage division or insurance division and attempt to sell those products to its own existing customers, with incentives for combining all things with one company. Better Qualified reviews your credit report and searches for inaccurate or false information. We challenge all disputable information on your behalf using proven & effective methods. Each month, we reevaluate your results and continue to work for an entire year. Our team teaches you how to build and maintain your credit for future success. “Better Qualified found mistakes on my credit report and began cleaning negative marks immediately. A year later my credit score has risen and my business credit is established with multiple creditors. I highly recommend that everyone use Better Qualified for your personal credit and if you own a business.

Michael Graves - At RIBA
Lecture date: 1987-05-01
As an introduction to a discussion of several museum and gallery projects by his own practice, Michael Graves discusses the typology of museums, reflecting on a series of plans including Schinkel's Altes Museum; McKim, Mead, & White's Brooklyn Museum; Soane's Dulwich Picture Gallery; and the adaptation of the Palazzo degli Uffizi into the Uffizi Gallery. Graves then presents a selection of his own work, including the remodelled Michael C Carlos Museum at Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia; the Youngstown Historical Center of Industry and Labor, Ohio; a competition project for the Wexner Center for the Arts in Columbus, Ohio; the much-delayed Newark Museum, New Jersey; and his controversial proposal for an addition to Marcel Breuer's original building for the Whitney Museum, New York.
After establishing his practice in Princeton in 1964, Michael Graves proved himself to be one of the most significant figures in the theory and practice of architectural design throughout the succeeding decades. As an architect and designer, Graves famously described himself as a 'general practitioner'. He began teaching at Princeton University in 1962, becoming the Robert Schirmer Professor of Architecture. He has been a visiting professor at numerous other universities throughout the United States.

Steve, the author of the video, gives several useful suggestions to resolve this problem. First of all, one should look at the turning factors when it comes to scoring his credit. Payment history is the most important one. 35% of FICO score is based on payment history, so if you pay on time, your score will never be dropped on hundred points. Next, one should pay attention on the Amounts Owed, which takes 30% of FICO score. The rule №1 – don't keep “max out credit cards”. If it happens, try to pay these accounts down. Companies in finance and insurance industry engage in financial transactions and create, liquidate, purchase, and sell financial assets such as securities, bonds, and insurance.
