“CADDO LAKE EXPOSED: Six Perspectives” at Michelson Museum of Art in Marshall, Texas
For two years, six renowned photographers turned their lenses on Caddo Lake in all seasons, resulting in “CADDO LAKE EXPOSED: Six Perspectives,” an exhibition of thirty diverse and engaging fine photographic prints created by Sun to Moon Gallery in Dallas, TX. Prints types in the exhibition include gelatin silver, archival pigment, bromoil and platinum/palladium over 24k gold leaf.

Birds in Art 2018
Get a close-up look through detail studies* of many of the works on display in the 2018 Birds in Art exhibition through Nov. 25 at the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum in Wausau, WI, USA. Remember, admission to the LYWAM is always free, but the museum is closed on Mondays.
After its debut run at the LYWAM, it will travel in 2019 to Brookgreen Gardens, Murrells Inlet, S.C; Michelson Museum of Art, Marshall, TX; and Newington-Cropsey Foundation, Hastings-on-Hudson, N.Y.
* I did my best to match both color and brightness to the catalog photography and the originals. A few are just dark works. A number of works on display could not be included due to lighting/reflection issues.

Caddo Lake Louisiana Photo Shoot 2009-2010
Some photos I took while living on a houseboat in northwest Louisiana. I sure hated to move after living in paradise. Great fishing lake any time day or night, just step out the door, coffee on the back deck at daybreak, pole in hand. I caught a lot of fish, took a bunch of pics, and drowned a lot of worms from my pirogue.

Caddo Lake Area Chamber of Commerce - Best Bayou Experience - Texas 2014
Caddo Lake, named after the Native Americans called Caddo Indians or Caddoans, is located on the border between Texas and Louisiana. According to Caddo Indian legend, the lake was formed by a giant flood. Other theories attribute the lake's origin to an earthquake.
