MCs Li Qiang and Isis venture to visit the highest peak in Hokkaido, Asahi-Dake aka Mt. Asahi! But before the climb, they stop by the charming brown rice ball shop specializing in using Higashikawa rice and ingredients, Genmai Omusubi Chamise. Ride the Mt. Asahi Ropeway to see the panoramic view of Hokkaido from the ropeway station 1600m high. The two MCs are impressed the intriguing knowledge their guide of 20yrs experience shares with them, Mr. Sakuma. Throughout the walk they meet different alpine plants, and spectacular views, one after the other. After the climb and walking around the high levels of Asahi-Dake, eating onigiri, rice balls is especially a good memory waiting to happen, exceptionally full of bliss. After eating delicious soft cream at the “Michi no Eki Higashikawa Michikusa-kan”, they jump into the highest natural hot spring in all of Hokkaido, and enjoy relaxing at ease, appreciating such unforgettable, elegant moments.

北海道中央エリア、夏旅　第２弾！【人気スポット　東川町　旭岳　特集】道内最高峰の旭岳へ向かう前に、李強とアイシスは、東川町産のお米や具材を使っている「玄米おむすび　ちゃみせ」に立ち寄ります。旭岳ロープウェイで標高１６００Mの姿見駅へ。ガイド歴２０年の佐久間さんと散策しながら高山植物の大パノラマに感動する二人。旭岳散策後に食べるおむすびは格別です。「道の駅ひがしかわ　道草館」でソフトクリームを食べた後、道内で　一番高いところにある温泉「十勝川温泉　湯元凌雲閣」で自然を眺めながら優雅なひと時を過ごします。
