After a tearful goodbye to my last drone, I give you Lexa, my new and improved. Here's an old artillery fortification, that was first built in the 1800's and modified/upgraded up and till the war in vietnam. Anyway time to rock out to some Babymetal (J-pop meets Metal), hope you enjoy!

Middle Head Forts
The fortifications at Sydney's Middle Head were built between 1801 and 1942. Although they were never used as a defence, they were used as training facilities for the Australian Army during WWI, WWII and the Vietnam War. These weathered structures still stand along the headland and are open to the public. This video aims to capture the atmosphere of visiting this site on a rainy winter day.

The Middle Head Fortifications is an heritage-listed former defence establishment and military fortifications and now public space located at Middle Head Road, Middle Head, Mosman in the Mosman Council local government area of New South Wales, Australia. It is also known as the Middle Head Military Fortifications or The Old Fort. The fortifications consist of the Outer Middle Head Battery located at the end of Old Fort Road, the Inner Middle Head Battery located at the end of Governors Road, and the Obelisk batteries reached by a path from the corner of Middle Head Road and Chowder Bay Road. The fortifications at Middle Head formed part of Sydney Harbour's defences. The property is owned by the NSW Office of Environment and Heritage. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

Georges Head/Middle Head Tunnels Sydney
This was a 1hr 1/2trip tour at Georges Heights Lookout Tunnels, not Middle Head like I said in vlog and heading. It was ok for me but the adults enjoyed it more. I wish there were more tunnels. You can book on 02 89692100. It's on every 1st Sunday of the month. Anyway enjoy.

But a unique collaboration between the University of New South Wales and the National Parks and Wildlife Service might just change all that. A series of Architectural Computing student projects from live events to smart phone apps is aiming to bring the masses to this valuable historical site.

middle head forts/ bunkers the headland is riddled with little tunnels everywhere leading to its hidden tresures although the weather got a lil rough we still got a few picks but where limited as to venture on futher!! but will return!
Middle Head Fort
We discover one of the first forts built by convicts in 1801. It was perfectly positioned to oversee any incoming boat into Sydney Harbour. The British were terrified of a Spanish or French invasion.
