Live Earthquake Stream 24/7 Ca Seismograph
Welcome, Explanation of abbreviations
can be found on the bottom.
Please read the description of this feed here below. This will greatly help you in the understanding of what you are looking at on this YouTube Live site.
Thank you for joining us at CaSeismograph. Let us start by giving you an introduction to what CaSeismograph is and why it was created.
CaSeismograph live feed is the only featured self-made physical live seismograph community drum internet feed in the world! We strive to create a live feed that will serve the people of Southern California to give everyone a chance to communicate and exchange information in regards to local earthquakes and possible future events.
CaSeismograph is for the young and old, and every type in between. We desire to keep CaSeismograph a child-friendly place and as scientific and accurate in all possible aspects. This is why the CaSeismograph chat is moderated and we expect the chat users to keep the rules set by the CaSeismograph Team. Please be courteous and follow the moderator's discipline and you and all others will no doubt have an enjoy full time.
Southern California is at the moment in a nice quiet spell but when that changes (and that can happen in a moment's notice as we all know), it's then our site will suddenly get very busy. Because of this, we are still looking for more moderators to make sure the chat be properly cared for.
Please let us know if you are interested in joining the CaSeismograph Team as a Chat Active Moderator (CAM) person? We will be glad to send you our HUEWS/CAM procedure team member letter and introduce you to the rest of the team.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Emails can be directed to: CaSeismograph@gmail.com
Also, this live feed was made due to the ABC Seismograph community who were lost after ABC dropped their live Quake Cam feed.
ABC7 used to show a live Los Angeles webcam. It was viewing an Earthquake Seismograph drum at the Los Angeles KABC-TV television station Newsroom. Although it had a several minute delay, it would show any earthquake activity in the Southern California area.
You are now watching a real Quake-Cam live stream. We encourage the ABC seismograph community who were lost after ABC took down their live stream to continue watching this stream. We don't have facilities like ABC7 but hopefully, through your support, we can get there. If you used to be an avid watcher of the old stream or you are a newcomer please share this site with your friends. Our aspiration is to one day serve the Southern California people with instant earthquake information through sensors all across the state and along the San Andreas Fault line.
Currently, we are putting together an entire professional functioning Seismograph Drum to get away from the small but inherently bothersome defects our current Seismograph has. Hopefully, by then we will be able to also introduce a live signal from Big Bear.
As you can imagine, this en-devour is quite an undertaking and thus we thank you for your support as we look forward to continuing to grow and inform people of any earthquake activity in the SOCAL area.
All Physical seismographs, earthquake graphics, images, background, content, video, voice content captured in this live feed are the property of CaSeismograph, and are NOT intended for redistribution, copying, or repeating unless otherwise approved in writing by the content creator, CaSeismograph on YouTube.
The RaspberryShake Seismograph at Escondido is owned by CaSeismograph and the data stream can be found at the RaspberryShake Community Station View see link below:
So is our Temescal Valley feed a sensor of one of our CaSeismograph members and can be found at the Community Station View page of the site
Please subscribe and feel free to share this site with others.
Thank you, the CaSeismograph Team.

Travel Ecuador - Visiting the Center of the Earth in Quito
Take a tour of Center of the Earth in Quito , Ecuador -- part of the World's Greatest Attractions travel video series by GeoBeats.
The canton of Quito (Kee-to) in the Pichincha province of Ecuador is the proud home to a place called the ''Center of the Earth''
It has been highly promoted as the point in Ecuador along which the equator runs, however, the advent of GPS technology shows it to be nearly 240 meters off.
On this piece of land, a 30 meters tall stone monument stands as a marker of this unique locale.
The sign on the structure clearly states this as the longitudinal center of the world.
On top of the monument rests a 5 ton globe that is 4 and a half meters in diameter.
The center of earth or not, this attraction in Ecuador is among the most visited sites in the country.
the Middle of the World Ecuador
Had the rare opportunity to explore the amazing country of the volcanos, the country sits in the middle of the world - Ecuador in the mid January of 2019.
The country is spit into three zones, the beach, the highland and the jungles (the Amazon). Not only the temperature can vary from 0 degree to 30 +degrees in just 2 hours, but also the views can be absolutely different within miles.
Food is another big topic that I did't get to share too much in this video, shall we explore it again? Let's go!

Ecuador At The Equator - Water Demonstration - Coriolis Effect
The Coriolis Effect explains how water will drain counterclockwise, clockwise or straight down, depending where you are on the Earth. This video, shot at the Middle Of The World demonstrates just that - from right at the Equator in Quito Ecuador. Note that there are no cuts, edits or other 'tricks' of the camera - this is shown just as demonstrated by our guide at the park. Very interesting to watch the leaves drain in the different directions. The effect is formulated by F=2mw^v Many Ecuador videos and more on this channel - be sure to subscribe!

Ecuador The Most Fun Country || The Middle of the world || Equator || SP Universal Videos
Welcome To SP Universal Videos !! Ecuador is a representative democratic republic in northwestern South America, bordered by Colombia on the north, Peru on the east and south, and the Pacific Ocean to the west. Ecuador also includes the Galápagos Islands in the Pacific, about 1,000 kilometres (620 mi) west of the mainland. The capital city is Quito, while the largest city is Guayaquil.
What is now Ecuador was home to a variety of Amerindian groups that were gradually incorporated into the Inca Empire during the 15th century. The territory was colonized by Spain during the 16th century, achieving independence in 1820 as part of Gran Colombia, from which it emerged as its own sovereign state in 1830. The legacy of both empires is reflected in Ecuador's ethnically diverse population, with most of its 16.4 million people being mestizos, followed by large minorities of European, Amerindian, and African descendants. Spanish is the official language and is spoken by a majority of the population, though 13 Amerindian languages are also recognized, including Quichua and Shuar.
Ecuador is a middle-income country, with a developing economy that is highly dependent on commodities, namely petroleum and agricultural products. It is governed as a democratic presidential republic. One of 17 megadiverse countries in the world,[11][12] Ecuador hosts many endemic plants and animals, such as those of the Galápagos Islands. In recognition of its unique ecological heritage, the new constitution of 2008 is the first in the world to recognize legally enforceable Rights of Nature, or ecosystem rights.Various peoples had settled in the area of the future Ecuador before the arrival of the Incas. The archeological evidence suggests that the Paleo-Indians' first dispersal into the Americas occurred near the end of the last glacial period, around 16,500–13,000 years ago. The first Indians who reached Ecuador may have journeyed by land from North and Central America or by boat down the Pacific Ocean coastline. Much later migrations to Ecuador may have come via the Amazon tributaries, others descended from northern South America, and others ascended from the southern part of South America through the Andes. They developed different languages while emerging as unique ethnic groups.
Even though their languages were unrelated, these groups developed similar groups of cultures, each based in different environments. The people of the coast developed a fishing, hunting, and gathering culture; the people of the highland Andes developed a sedentary agricultural way of life; and the people of the Amazon basin developed a nomadic hunting-and-gathering mode of existence.
Over time these groups began to interact and intermingle with each other so that groups of families in one area became one community or tribe, with a similar language and culture. Many civilizations arose in Ecuador, such as the Valdivia Culture and Machalilla Culture on the coast, the Quitus (near present-day Quito), and the Cañari (near present-day Cuenca). Each civilization developed its own distinctive architecture, pottery, and religious interests.
In the highland Andes mountains, where life was more sedentary, groups of tribes cooperated and formed villages; thus the first nations based on agricultural resources and the domestication of animals formed. Eventually, through wars and marriage alliances of their leaders, a group of nations formed confederations. One region consolidated under a confederation called the Shyris, which exercised organized trading and bartering between the different regions. Its political and military power came under the rule of the Duchicela blood-line.The Ecuadorian State consists of five branches of government: the Executive Branch, the Legislative Branch, the Judicial Branch, the Electoral Branch, and Transparency and Social Control.
Ecuador is governed by a democratically elected President, for a four-year term. The current president of Ecuador, Lenin Moreno, exercises his power from the presidential Palacio de Carondelet in Quito. The current constitution was written by the Ecuadorian Constituent Assembly elected in 2007, and was approved by referendum in 2008. Since 1936, voting is compulsory for all literate persons aged 18–65, optional for all other citizens.[24]
The executive branch includes 23 ministries. Provincial governors and councilors (mayors, aldermen, and parish boards) are directly elected. The National Assembly of Ecuador meets throughout the year except for recesses in July and December. There are thirteen permanent committees. Members of the National Court of Justice are appointed by the National Judicial Council for nine-year terms.

I'M IN THE MIDDLE OF THE WORLD! (Solo travel in Ecuador)
So I solo traveled for the first time to Quito, Ecuador where you can find the middle of the world! It was a very short trip to Ecuador because I literally just want to check out and experience what it's like to be in the middle of the world which is really dope if you ask me! A lot of people warned me that it might not be as safe because of the political protests going on a week before I went there but so far so good, I felt very safe to solo travel in Ecuador :)

Visiting the Middle of the World | Latitude 00°00'00” | Quito Ecuador
When you visit Quito, #Ecuador, we recommend you visit the #MiddleofTheWorld (aka Ciudad Mitad del Mundo). Here, you’ll get to see if you can actually find Latitude 00°00'00”.
This can be quite a fun experience. The science experiments that you do on either side of the equatorial line are fun. Especially seeing the #CoriolisEffect swirling in action.
Besides visiting, the “Official” monument, we recommend that you also visit the Intiñan Solar Museum. There you’ll get to go around the exhibits with a guide (ours spoke English) who will tell you all about the equator and Ecuador’s history. Very informative and a fun thing to do while in Quito.
