Zhang Si'an at the Midi festival in Beijing, China, in 2008 singing Tianjing Sha Qiu Si, written during Yuan dynasty by poet Ma Zhi Yuan.
The Midi festival is China's biggest and most famous music festival. Zhang Si'an is the first musician to use ancient Chinese poem and give them a modern sound. He also was one of the first foreigner, in China, to sing in Chinese his own lyrics.
