This Week at the MCC - Jenn's guest today is Sarah Koetsier from the Georgian Bay Land Trust. The GBLT and the MCC have partnered to present the documentary film Chasing Ice. Sarah tells viewers about the work the GBLT does regarding stewardship of land in our area and about the must see movie Chasing Ice being shown on Jan. 30 in Rotary Hall at 7pm. - $10, students $5. Also on Jan. 30, we're showing a free movie for PA day called Earth to Echo at 1pm. Jan. 31 - Winterfest at the MCC - when you need a break from the outdoor activities happening around town and at Little Lake Park come down and warm up with the Caribbean sounds of steel drum player Aaron Roberts. We're serving Caribbean food and drink - jerk chicken anyone? and the Open Mic performers will be singing some Trop Rock favourites! - the festivities are FREE all day 10 - 4pm. Feb. 1 - the lovely and extremely talented Connie Kaldor performs for us.
