Yokoyama Observatory in Ise-Shima National Park of Mie pref.
Yokoyama observatory commands a fine view of the beautiful Agowan bay below.
The scene from here is frequently used in lots of media when talking about the beauty of Mie prefecture.
The transportation is not very good around this spot, but still I think this site is worth visiting when you come to Shima city of Mie prefecture.

三重県は伊勢志摩国立公園内に位置する横山展望台を訪れました。この辺りの公共交通機関は決して便利とは言えませんが、ここから眺める英虞湾の景色は、写真では味わえないなかなかの絶景で、時間があれば、訪れてみる価値のある場所だと思います。
Winter Illumination Display of Nabananosato, a botanical garden in Kuwana city, Mie pref.
Nabananosato is a very famous botanical garden in the Tokai region including Aichi, Gifu and Mie prefecture.
Less than 30 minute train ride from Nagoya station to Kintetsu Nagashima station and an about 15 minute bus ride from Nagashima station will take you to Nabananosato, of course the bus ride depends on traffic.
I think Nabananosato is the best bet for those who want to enjoy Japanese seasonal flowers and blossoms.

This is my ninth daily vlog from my trip as an exchange student to Shiga, Japan in the summer of 2013. This video is from July 6, 2013. My host family took me to Hikone City, where we visited Hikone Castle and shopped and dined at Viva City. We also had a small party with some of my host sister's friends. Gaienmae Ginkgo Icho Namiki Avenue - Tokyo - 外苑前 - 4K Ultra HD
The Icho Namiki Avenue in Gaienmae is a rather typical large avenue in Tokyo all year long with the exception of few weeks a year (Mid November ! Mid December) when all the ginkgo trees lined up on each side the avenue turn to gold. This turns a rather banal place into a magical and romantic avenue that is definitely worth checking if you are visiting Japan this time of year!
