It's travel report by the channel of GOTO ISLANDS,which is the special channel literally focusing on the highlights of this magnificent archipelago of GOTO ISLANDS. GOTO ISLANDS, or GOTO RETTOU in Japanese, literally means 5 major islands of archipelago, is made up of 140 islands including ５major ones represented by FUKUE-jima island which is the largest one among them. GOTO RETTOU, on the east China sea,100 km off the coast of NAGASAKI city in western KYUSYU,abounds in many, many scenic and historic sites. In terms of scenic beauty,GOTO RETTOU is designated as SAIKAI National Park noted for its magnificent archipelago seascape. Additionally,in terms of historic sites, some places are designated as JAPAN HERITAGE(governmental designation),and others are registered on the tentative list of UNESCO's World Cultural Heritage!!
Accordingly, I think few places in Japan can rival this archipelago's wealth of historic and scenic sites.
So,that's why I decided to open this channel to send you travel report on this amazing archipelago by utilizing my knowledge as licensed guide.
[Today's topic]
DOUZAKI coast is located in Fukue island,on the east China sea,120 km off the coast of Nagasaki city in western Kyusyu. As you can see, this coast has ineffable beauty and unreal rock formation !! Moreover there's DOUZAKI church,the oldest church in the GOTO ISLANDS, the home of the KAKURE KIRISHITANS(Hidden Christians) Incidentally,this magnificent island can be accessed by a just 40 minutes flight from FUKUOKA,hub airport in Japan!!

Going to the NARU-jima island by ferry!!
Today(November 16th 2016), I'm going to NARU island to take videos of scenic spots there!! NARU island, 20 km off the Northeast of FUKUE island where I'm staying, is one the five major islands of GOTO-RETTOU archipelago. NARU island can be accessed by 30min. voyage at 510 yen per one way from FUKUE port!! This video is a seascape viewing one from ferry deck on the magnificent archipelago stretching from FUKUE to NARU island. (These islands are designated as Special Zone of SAIKAI National Park.) Additionally, the interesting viewing of the ferry's skillful docking at ferry terminal will appear at the end of this video!! Please don't miss it!!
