Pride of LIONS crossing the road - Mikumi National Park, Tanzania
The world stood still when a pride of lions started crossing the A7 highway that connects Mikumi to Morogoro (Tanzania). Traffic stopped for a few minutes while proud and charming lionesses safely escorted their cubs to the other side of the road with royal elegance.
Il mondo si è fermato quando un branco di leoni ha cominciato ad attraversare l'autostrada A7 che collega Mikumi a Morogoro (Tanzania). Il traffico si è fermato per alcuni minuti mentre prodi e seducenti leonesse scortavano i loro cuccioli dall'altra parte della carreggiata con eleganza regale.
El mundo se detuvo cuando una manada de leones comenzó a cruzar la autopista A7 que conecta Mikumi en Morogoro (Tanzania). El tráfico se detuvo durante varios minutos mientras la leona poderosa y seductora escoltar sus crías en el otro lado de la carretera con elegancia real.

Mikumi National Park (Best Tanzania Safari!) An African Safari vlog in HD. This was my first ever African Safari complete with lions mating, as animals do. A Mikumi National Park Safari is the closest Safari to Dar Es Salaam and it’s fantastic! Is there a cheap Tanzania safari with hotels inside Mikumi National park in Tanzania? Yes, there is! Details below in the Comments section regarding the Mikumi Bandas in Mikumi National Park booked through the Mikumi tourism office (VETA) , which is one of the best Tanzania safari tips of all! If a budget Safari in Tanzania is what you are looking for without having to camp, then this is the cheapest way to go in Tanzania! Mikumi National Park is the the closest safari to Dar Es Salaam anthat is truly worthwhile. A grueling bus ride from the coastal city of Dar es Salaam to the amazing Mikumi National Park was certainly worth it though a private car would be so much nicer. What a great experience up close to hundreds of wild animals....no fences anywhere. We saw wildebeests, zebras, giraffe, mating lions, hippos, tons of birds, Elan, jackals, elephants, leopards, and much more. Mikumi National Park has been dubbed the Mini Serengetti for a reason. Stunningly beautiful and packed with animals! It is certainly not small though at over 3200 square kilometers! This was my first African safari, but now that we have visited 4 more National parks in Tanzania (Serengetti, Manyara, Tarangire, and Ngorongoro Crater) we can tell you our thoughts about them all. 2 Days Mikumi Safari.
We arrived to Dar es Salam in early morning with Turkish airlines. Watu Safaris picked up us on the airport around 6:00 and we headed to Mikumi national park. After we arrived to the park (around 14:00) we checked in into the tourist cottages located inside the park and we have afternoon drive where we saw lot of animals and watched sunset next to the hippo pool, which was overcrowded by animals thanks to the dry season. Next day we had morning drive finished with lunch in Mikumi wildlife Camp, where you can still watch animals thanks to the nearby waterhole. After lunch we headed back to Dar Es Salam.
