In the Footsteps of Jesus: From Nazareth to Jerusalem...On...
In the footsteps of Jesus, along his possible path, on a special pilgrimage from Galilee to Jerusalem, completely on foot. It is the goal of David Brown, a 74 year old English journalist. Twenty years ago, David traveled from Capharnaum to Jericho in four days, in a journey on foot through the Wadi Qelt. From that point on, he dreamed of completing the path from Nazareth. And so he took to the road precisely from the city of the Annunciation, passing into the region of Tiberius, on the Sea of Galilee, to recall the public life of Jesus. Then Samaria, Jericho ... in every place stopping, to contemplate and recall the history of the bible texts. And finishing with the experience of the desert.An adventure successful, this time, only in part. But David is not discouraged. The experience just completed is a sort of general rehearsal, he explains, a way of getting to know the path and becoming familiar with the places. The big challenge of walking the entire route is just around the corner, to complete before the 75 year milestone.DAVID-ANDREW BROWN: I wanted to walk with Jesus, spiritually, but also to see the best known places he went through when he came on pilgrimage to Jerusalem for Passover ... Naturally, after a while, the road becomes difficulty, when the feet start to hurt, the legs. Moreover, especially in this month of April, you need to drink as much as possible, and it is difficult to imagine that Jesus and his disciples carried much water, they had to know where the wells were found and where they could ask for water and that was also an opportunity for an encounter, like with the Samaritan.David Brown has worked as a journalist in South Africa broadcasting the program Walks in the Holy Land for four years. As a correspondent, he covered the death of Pope Paul VI and the elections of Pope John Paul I and John Paul II with two documentaries titled Habemus Papam. English by birth, he has worked in radio and television also in the Netherlands and Israel. Currently, he lives in France. Despite the difficulties of the journey, David expresses his happiness:DAVID-ANDREW BROWN: I think I can say that walking with Jesus, making this pilgrimage, made me feel closer to Him, understanding better how He was a human being in the sense that He accepted our life with all its difficulties and joys ... sure He was God, but as Scripture says 'he wanted to pitch his tent among us'. And therefore, now, I feel closer to Jesus the man, to the Jesus that shared our life and who gave us his Life.
MT. PRECIPICE NAZARETH ISRAEL With Tom Trento
Join Tom Trento, Director of The United West as we explore Mr. Precipice in Nazareth Israel during our 2018 National Security tour of Israel with Judge Jeanine Pirro.
Just south of Nazareth in the cliffs of Mt Kedumim is Mount Precipice, the traditional site of the cliff that an angry mob attempted to throw Jesus off of after his bold proclamation in the Nazareth synagogue (Luke 4:16-30).
The site offers a panoramic view of the patchwork Jezreel Valley and Mount Tabor, especially nice at sunrise.
Excavations of Mt. Precipice found Qafzeh Cave with evidence of prehistoric settlement, including 13 Stone Age skeletons from the Neanderthal period. One local legend says that the cave opened up to hide Jesus from the angry mob. Another tradition says that Jesus lept from the mount, landing 9km away on Mt. Tabor, hence the Arabic name for the mount, Jebel Qafzeh which translates to “mount of the leaping.”

Listening is a more natural way of learning, when compared to reading. Written language only began at around 3200 BC, but spoken language has existed long ago.
Learning by listening is a great way to:
- increases imagination and understanding
- improves your listening skills
- improves your own spoken accent
- learn while on the move
- reduce eye strain

SUMMARY
=======
Apple Inc. is an American multinational technology company headquartered in Cupertino, California, that designs, develops, and sells consumer electronics, computer software, and online services. It is considered one of the Big Four of technology along with Amazon, Google and Facebook.The company's hardware products include the iPhone smartphone, the iPad tablet computer, the Mac personal computer, the iPod portable media player, the Apple Watch smartwatch, the Apple TV digital media player, and the HomePod smart speaker. Apple's software includes the macOS and iOS operating systems, the iTunes media player, the Safari web browser, and the iLife and iWork creativity and productivity suites, as well as professional applications like Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, and Xcode. Its online services include the iTunes Store, the iOS App Store and Mac App Store, Apple Music, and iCloud.
Apple was founded by Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, and Ronald Wayne in April 1976 to develop and sell Wozniak's Apple I personal computer. It was incorporated as Apple Computer, Inc., in January 1977, and sales of its computers, including the Apple II, grew quickly. Within a few years, Jobs and Wozniak had hired a staff of computer designers and had a production line. Apple went public in 1980 to instant financial success. Over the next few years, Apple shipped new computers featuring innovative graphical user interfaces, such as the original Macintosh in 1984, and Apple's marketing commercials for its products received widespread critical acclaim. However, the high price tag of its products and limited software titles caused problems, as did power struggles between executives at the company. In 1985, Wozniak stepped away from Apple, while Jobs resigned and founded a new company—NeXT—with former Apple employees.
As the market for personal computers increased, Apple's computers lost share to lower-priced products, particularly ones that ran the Microsoft Windows operating system. After more executive job shuffles, CEO Gil Amelio in 1997 bought NeXT to bring Jobs back. Jobs regained leadership within the company and became the new CEO shortly after. He began to rebuild Apple's status, opening Apple's own retail stores in 2001, acquiring numerous companies to create a portfolio of software titles, and changing some of the hardware used in its computers. The company returned to profitability. In January 2007, Jobs renamed the company Apple Inc., reflecting its shifted focus ...
