Bro Jesse Address the Knesset (War room) in Israel 1993
The Oslo Accords, officially called the Declaration of Principles on Interim Self-Government Arrangements[1] or Declaration of Principles (DOP) was a milestone in the Palestinian - Israeli conflict. It was the first direct, face-to-face agreement between Israel and political representatives of Palestinians. It was intended to be a framework for the future relations between Israel and the Palestinians, when all outstanding final status issues between the two sides would be addressed and resolved in one agreement.
The Accords were wrapped-up in Oslo, Norway on 20 August 1993, and subsequently officially signed at a public ceremony in Washington D.C. on 13 September 1993 in the presence of Palestinian Liberation Organisation (PLO) chairman Yasser Arafat, Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin and U.S. President Bill Clinton, with Mahmoud Abbas signing for the Palestine Liberation Organization, foreign Minister Shimon Peres for the State of Israel, Secretary of State Warren Christopher for the United States and foreign minister Andrei Kozyrev for Russia.
Highlights of speech:
I would like to greet you Shalom - Mabuhay
OSLO ACCORD IS ONLY TEMPORARY PEACE.
THE PEACE WILL LAST WHEN THE PRINCE OF PEACE WILL COME TO GIVE YOU PEACE.
JESUS SAID: JOHN 14:27 (ASV) Peace I leave with you; my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful.

USA: TRIBUTE SERVICE HELD FOR YITZHAK RABIN IN NEW YORK
English/Nat
One week before the beginning of Haunakah, Jews are remembering slain Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin as a man of strength and peace.
At a tribute attended by thousands in New York City on Sunday American vice- president Al Gore praised Rabin as the guiding light in many lives.
Rabin's widow, Leah, and his successor as Prime Minister, Shimon Peres, called for unity amongst Jews and for an end to the hatred and violence that led to Rabin's murder.
At the New York ceremony, Jews and non-Jews alike honoured Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, the warrior-turned-peacemaker who fell to an assassin's bullet just over a month ago.
American vice-president Al Gore spoke of the light Rabin's life shed on others.
SOUNDBITE:
Now in this special Haunakah season, the lights of the Monorro will also shine with the memory of Israel's beloved son Yitzhak Rabin. They will shine as brightly as the hundreds of thousands of Yurtzhite candles that glow with the joy and warmth that was his life
SUPER CAPTION: Al Gore, American Vice-President
Prayers were offered for Jews to come together and resolve political differences peacefully.
Speaking with a shaky voice, Rabin's widow Leah told the rally the assassination must linger in the nation's memory,
SOUNDBITE:
There are things in our life that we insist never to forget, this murder we don't want to forget, who killed and who was killed. We need to change the climate of hatred and violence that eventually brought about the assassination and as this climate prevailed we unfortunately never heard about Jewish solidarity. We hear so much these days about the need for unity and Jewish solidarity, nothing would be more important. We will forever remember you, Yitzhak, full of faith, bearing the firewood on your shoulder and going through the fire and the inferno, so that fire and inferno would no longer exist in this land
SUPER CAPTION: Leah Rabin, Widow of Yitzhak Rabin
Mrs Rabin noted that since the assassination, the extremist rhetoric of Israel's radical right-wing has been toned down .
She reminded the audience her husband would have wanted peace and solidarity among Jews in his absence.
Prime Minister Shimon Peres also called for unity.
SOUNDBITE:
We are one people. And may I suggest unity those who are for the policies that Yitzhak has introduced and those who are against the policies that he has introduced - provided that we should also be united against violence, against murder, against callousness, let's argue not hate
SUPER CAPTION: Shimon Peres, Israeli Prime Minister
Yitzhak Rabin was gunned down by an assassin's bullet on November 4th, as he was leaving a peace rally in Tel Aviv.

CNN Coverage - Ofra Haza
CNN coverage of Ofra's death; Sunday, February 27, 2000. (Long version).....
Israelis mourn death of singer Ofra Haza
TEL AVIV, Israel -- Israelis are mourning the death of one of their first international pop stars, Ofra Haza. She was 42.
Haza, known for blending Yemenite melodies with techno music, was buried on Thursday in Tel Aviv. She had died the previous evening at Sheba Hospital at Tel Hashomer of massive organ failure, Dr. Zeev Rortenstein said. He refused to discuss what led to the failure, saying that was her wish.
Haza had been in serious-to-critical condition for two weeks, unconscious and receiving intravenous drug infusions and dialysis treatment. A recent article in the Jerusalem Post reported she was believed to have developed pneumonia as a complication of untreated influenza.
Her flag-draped coffin was on public display in Hatikvah, the poor Tel Aviv suburb where she was born. Thousands of people flooded the town on Thursday to pay their respects, including Prime Minister Ehud Barak.
The songs of Ofra were not meant for only our ears. She entered the hearts of many in Israel and throughout the world, Barak said in a condolence message. Her contribution to Israeli culture and the honor she brought to the country will be remembered always.
Former Prime Minister Shimon Peres was among the crowd that attended the funeral Thursday at the Yarkon cemetery. He praised Haza as a figure who bridged the traditions of east and west.
Israeli radio played Haza's songs throughout the day, and all the major newspapers devoted their lead stories to her. The country's largest paper, Yedioth Aharonoth, focused its first seven pages on her life.
Haza was the youngest of nine children born to Yemenite immigrants. She had told a television interviewer she grew up in a home that was filled with song -- her mother having been a well-known singer in Yemen.
A talent scout discovered Haza at age 12. But it wasn't until 1983 that her career took off. That year, she won second place in the Eurovision Song Contest with the song Ani od Hai (I'm still alive).
Two years later, she released Yemenite Songs, which became an instant hit in Israel. Its signature track, Im Ninalu, (If the gates of Heaven were locked) expanded a devotional poem by 17th century rabbi Shalom Shabazi into a modern love song. U.S. rap artists Eric B. and Rakim sampled Im Ninalu on their dance hit Paid in Full in 1988, bringing Haza onto the international scene.
Haza's 1993 album Kirya was nominated for a Grammy, and she had the honor of performing in Oslo, Norway, when Israel's Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, then-Foreign Minister Peres and Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1994. She most recently sang the role of Moses' mother in the 1998 film The Prince of Egypt.
Haza is survived by her husband, businessman Doron Ashkenazi, whom she married two years ago. They didn't have any children.

Turmoil & Triumph: The George Shultz Years: Swords into Plowshares - Full Video
As the Iran-Contra scandal grows, a summit meeting continues in Iceland as these two leaders meet each other face to face for a second time to determine the future of a nuclear world. Tempers flare as Shultz realizes that Reagan will not give up the Star Wars Space Defense Initiative even if Gorbachev agrees to destroy all Soviet nuclear weapons. Gorbachev says, “If we could agree to ban research in space, I'd sign in two minutes. It's laboratory or nothing!” Reagan scribbles a note to Shultz asking: “Am I wrong?” Shultz replies: “No, you are right.” As the two world leaders part in dejection Gorbachev says: “I don't know what more I could have done.” Reagan replies: “You could have said yes.” Still, out of the disappointment, Reykjavik leads to the most significant nuclear arms reduction pact of the Cold War and is the pinnacle of Shultz’s career in government service.
In January 1989, George Shultz leaves the State Department. He returns to the world of ideas as a Fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University. His committed search for peace and security continues as he travels the world as a passionate advocate for nuclear disarmament.
Through the memories of George Shultz, other cabinet members, journalists and historians, viewers will relive the gripping tensions of these times; the fear of war in the Middle East, the shock of the barracks bombing that killed 220 Marines in Lebanon, the fall of Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos and the presidency of Corazon Aquino and the delicate manipulations of summitry that helped determine the future of peace on the planet. For the first time these programs will reveal Shultz’s dedicated efforts to protect his President and expose those in the White House who plotted the illegal Iran/Contra scheme. Throughout, George Shultz’s relentless determination combined with his use of national strength made him one of the most effective secretaries of state in the nation’s history. The series will offer George Shultz’s remarkably vivid portraits of the major players on the national and world stage in the latter years of the twentieth century. But Shultz’s most remarkable and revealing portrait will be of Ronald Reagan himself. This new three-hour PBS series will be full of high drama and living history.

=======
An electric vehicle network is an infrastructure system of charging stations and battery swap station to recharge electric vehicles. Many government, car manufacturers, and charging infrastructure providers sought to create networks. As of December 2016, Estonia remained the only country to have completed a nationwide public electric charging network. As of 2018 the largest fast-charging location was in Shanghai on the Tesla Supercharger network, with fifty charging stalls.

SUMMARY
=======
Tourism is travel for pleasure or business; also the theory and practice of touring, the business of attracting, accommodating, and entertaining tourists, and the business of operating tours. Tourism may be international, or within the traveller's country. The World Tourism Organization defines tourism more generally, in terms which go beyond the common perception of tourism as being limited to holiday activity only, as people traveling to and staying in places outside their usual environment for not more than one consecutive year for leisure and not less than 24 hours, business and other purposes.Tourism can be domestic or international, and international tourism has both incoming and outgoing implications on a country's balance of payments. Today, tourism is a major source of income for many countries, and affects the economy of both the source and host countries, in some cases being of vital importance.Tourism suffered as a result of a strong economic slowdown of the late-2000s recession, between the second half of 2008 and the end of 2009, and the outbreak of the H1N1 influenza virus, but slowly recovered. International tourism receipts (the travel item in the balance of payments) grew to US$1.03 trillion (€740 billion) in 2011, corresponding to an increase in real terms of 3.8% from 2010. International tourist arrivals surpassed the milestone of 1 billion tourists globally for the first time in 2012, emerging markets such as China, Russia, and Brazil had significantly increased their spending over the previous decade. The ITB Berlin is the world's leading tourism trade fair. Global tourism accounts for ca. 8% of global greenhouse gas emissions.
