Ready to check out some scaly, slithery creatures?! Members of the Northern Ohio Association of Herpetologists (NOAH) and Keith Gisser of “Herps Alive” will exhibit their menageries. Also, for the first time ever, we’ll have Sue Bixler from The Ohio State University’s Franz Theodore Stone Laboratory with a display about Lake Erie Water Snakes (made famous by Mike Rowe’s TV show “Dirty Jobs”) and other island reptilian residents. Canfield Niles Ohio Bike Trail 110415
This is the Mill Creek Bike Way, that is part of the Western Reserve Greenway Bike Trail, traveling form Canfield to Niles, Ohio. It is a paved trail, mostly flat, 13.7 mile trail. The popular trail is well maintained, and can also be used for rollerblading, hiking, and running. You can use this video to preview the trail or even use it to ride with on your indoor trainer, treadmill, etc.

Lanterman's Mill, completed in 1846 by German Lanterman, stands 90' from the Mill Creek gorge. It is solidly set into the sandstone cliff on one side and the waterwheel pit on the outer side of the stream. The basement/foundation has three levels and the wooden structure of the mill has three levels.

This is a series of photos taken from a drone flown around the perimeter of the (2017) Canfield Fairgrounds ranging from August 19 through September 9. 11 days before the start of the fair to 5 days after its close. Photos show in general how much equipment/concessions were brought in and then eventually removed from the grounds during the date range.
The photos are displayed for 5 seconds each except from the NE corner where those photos display for 3 seconds each. There is not as much to see from that corner of the grounds.
