Known as the 'Village in the Mist', Millaa Millaa is in the heart of Tropical North Queensland on the cusp of the Southern Tablelands. The area is a haven for spectacular scenery and fresh local produce, and creates an aura of relaxation and serenity.

Millaa Millaa is only a small town in far north Queensland but it has some interesting character. There's an interesting statue down the very end of the town past the end of the park, and not far from town you'll find the Millaa Millaa Falls which is also well worth a visit. A nice short bush walk as well.

DAY 5 - MILLA MILLA FALLS | Road Trip Australia
Day 5 - 6th September 2017
Very busy day! We started up on Hallorans Hill in Atherton - great lookout around the surrounding area.
Then we went platypus hunting at Peterson Creek - even managed to see 3 in the wild!
Then onto Milla Milla Falls - perhaps the most famous waterfall in the world?
Finally we stopped in Cairns for the night.
