Show information:
Holograms, projection mapping, interactive lasers and award-winning cirque artists all come together for the most spectacular holiday production in the world! Holiday Dreams presents a jaw-dropping, modern holiday show featuring cirque artists, comedy, daredevils and a modern soundtrack.
Holiday Dreams is a holiday show unlike any other. The story centers around two characters: one who is going to tell a wonderful Christmas story and the other, a Grinch-like heckler from the audience who is at the “wrong show.” Jaded and cynical, our whimsical heckler is taken into a journey around the beauty and wonder of the Holiday Season, represented in all its glory with the use of projection mapping–a technique of projecting computer images as seen by audiences in television shows like America’s Got Talent.

MICHIGAN'S FORGOTTEN CLINTON TO KALAMAZOO CANAL!!!!!
I based this video on a newspaper article I found from 1947. It ran in the Saginaw News.
Paired.com
A mock commercial for a website called Paired .com with an enthusiastic spokesman (Ben Maters) who promises that his website will match anyone with their perfect partner. John Harrington (Ben Andre) decides to give the website a try and ends up going on a variety of horrible dates (Kelsey Jackson, Leia McWhorter-Pusateri, and Joe Seibert). He eventually ends up meeting someone (Chelsea Wolocko) that he really likes by pure chance and they end up together in the end.
The film was created by Western Michigan University film students. Written and directed by Patty Rooney. Produced by Dillon Stoneburner. Assistant Director and Lighting, Nick Leadford. Editing and Sound Design, Jeremy Davidson. Special thanks to Dan Baker for his help in production and Katrina Pavey for her help in designing sound and Fourth Coast Cafe for giving up their location for filming.

About the National Veterans Creative Arts Festival:
Nationwide, Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) medical facilities use the creative arts as one form of rehabilitative treatment to help Veterans recover from and cope with physical and emotional disabilities. Across the country each year, Veterans treated at VA facilities compete in a local creative arts competition. The competition includes 53 categories in the visual arts division this year that range from oil painting to leatherwork to paint-by-number kits. In addition, there are 120 categories in the performing arts pertaining to all aspects of music, dance, drama, and creative writing. A national selection committee chooses first, second and third place winners among all of the entries. Select winners are invited to attend the National Veterans Creative Arts Festival each year.
American Legion Auxiliary Involvement:
Since 2000, the Auxiliary has played a key role in NVCAF as a cosponsor of the event, along with Department of Veterans Affairs. In addition to raising funds, Auxiliary departments also provide volunteers who assist with everything from punching meal tickets to stuffing programs to ironing costumes for the stage show. Best of all, Auxiliary members have the opportunity to meet and develop relationships with the veterans who participate.
For more information about the American Legion Auxiliary's ongoing support of veterans, military and their families, please visit ALAforVeterans.org.
