My trip to Minato Inari Jinja, Niigata City Japan!
Earlier this month I went to a Shinto shrine in Niigata City, Niigata, Japan. It's famous for having rotating komainu. Fishermen's wives used to rotate the komainu to face the sea and pray for bad weather so their husbands were forced to stay home with them. They are the only rotating komainu statues in Japan.

稲荷神社 INARI / shinto shrine complex
Inari Shinto complex starts in the temple down the mount Inari , going upwards through a corridor of thousands of toriis there are several shrines, mausoleums and simple tombs, at one side and the other of this corridor and also at the top of the hill. Also a beautiful bambu forest. From the highest point there is a beautiful view of Kyoto.

Nagaoka Tenmangu Shrine, Kyoto Prefecture
Nagaoka Tenmangu Shrine is located in Nagaoka-kyo city in Kyoto Prefecture. Nagaoka-kyo city is the neighboring city to Kyoto City and was the original ancient capital of Japan in the late eight century.
Like all Tenmangu shrines, this shrine is also dedicated to Michizane Sugawara. Michizane Sugawara is revered as the Shinto god of learning and education. It is said that when he was exiled to Dazaifu town in Fukuoka Prefecture, on the way to Fukuoka, he stopped by at this location. Since then a shrine was built to revere Michizane Sugawara.
【4K】Walking in Kamogawa town and Niemonjima
Not a vlog, no intrusive faces or talking, pure Japan only.
Last weekend I found one request for Niemonjima. As it was in Chiba I decided it should not be far, well, I was wrong.
i got up at 9 and at 10am went to Chiba station as it was big transfer as i remembered from yesterday directions. And only after spending an hour to get there I found that the way to Futomi station takes another 2 hours and I missed a train and the next is next hour. So, I got to Futomi station only at 3:30pm.
Island is very small and the only way there is a hands-powered boat with pretty high price for two ways. But for such small island you can find here a shrine, a garden, small museum, a souvenir shop, BBQ spot, rocks and the sea.
After the island I flew a bit from the pier over the sea and then walked in Futomi town.

I was asked to go to Numazu multiple times and now I did it. It was filmed next day after Niiigata and same day as Atami video.
Not sure is it just such weather or place itself, but it was very windy.
I walked from the station through the city, along the river, to port where I got to the top of sea gates.

So I flew to the top, walked through garden, then hiked down to Hodosan shrine, passed through the town to Arakawa river and the flew away.
