BEST TOURIST SPOTS IN BAGUIO: BURNHAM PARK, STRAWBERRY FARM | MINES VIEW PARK | CHRISTMAS VILLAGE

Baguio is regarded as the Summer Capital of the Philippines, with its cold weather all throughout the year. The city is also home to tropical pine forests, lending the city the nickname City of Pines.
I was lucky to visit Baguio City this year before Christmas 2019. One of my favorite destinations here is Burnham Park a historic urban park located in downtown Baguio, Philippines.
Another list on my bucket when visiting the this City of Pines is the Mines View Park, an overlook park on the northeastern outskirts of Baguio. It is five kilometers away from the Heart of Baguio, passing through the Botanical Garden, the Strawberry Farm in La Trinidad Benguet is also a good place to go where you can see the cultivation of strawberry and you can buy fresh vegetables such as Broccoli, cauliflower. There are also many souvenirs and other products of Baguio that you can take home for “pasalubong” like Ube Jam, Strawberry Jam, the Mansion House, Wright Park, and many more.
We visited also the Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes, a Catholic shrine with 252 steps stairs and a place of prayer and meditation located on Mirador Hill in the western part of Baguio. Inside the grotto is a statue of Our Lady of Lourdes. Lourdes Grotto is basically many visitors and crowded on weekends and during Holy Week when pilgrims and devotees come to seek the blessing of the Virgin Mary.
You can also visit the Baguio’s Haunted Diplomat Hotel, it was the Dominican Hill Retreat House, an abandoned structure atop Dominican Hill, Baguio, Philippines. It is now undergoing rehabilitation through the efforts of the city government.
And of course, the Baguio Country Club Christmas Village is much awaited every Christmas season in the celebration of the holidays where you can enjoy artificial snow rains down as you enjoy carolers’ song.
We visited also the Colorful Stobosa Hillside Houses, a community artwork designed by the Tam-Awan Village group, and is a locally recognized tourist attraction in the town of La Trinidad, Benguet. The paintwork of multiple houses composes a single artwork.
There are so many things you can do and experience in Baguio like the Panagbenga Festival which will be held annually every February, the Ifugao Woodcarvers’ Village, shopping at Ukay-Ukay and the Markets, grabbing a drink or two or more at the Baguio Craft Brewery, visiting the Bencab Museum, dropping by at Camp John Hay and the Baguio mansion and many more.
There are also plenty of restaurants in Baguio like the Good Taste Restaurant, and there are also cheap accommodations for a comfortable stay.
Baguio also serves as a tourist hub in the Cordilleras, serving as a jumping point to other tourist spots like Mount Pulag, Sagada and Banaue.

In this videos , I will be showing you mines view park in baguio city, Philippines.
Mines view park is one of the most common tourist destination in the city of pines. Hundreds of visitors travel to this park everyday during summer, since it is located within the summer capital of the philippines.
A jeepney line going to mines view is located at the center of the city(near session road).
Tourist visiting the park will also have an easy access to other tourist spots within the city since it is just near the mansion house, wright park, botanical garden and camp john hay.

Baguio City is a great destination, even when it rains! With numerous things to do including an craft beer brewery, to beautifully well-maintained city parks as well as national renowned art museums.
On this day, we went from Burnham Park, Baguio's beloved central city park, all the way over to Mines View Park. Mines View Park is a popular observation deck overlooking Baguio's mountains as well as the Amburayan Valley.

Mines View Park in Baguio is an observation place and a popular tourist destination. From this place you will see a beautiful view of Benguet's gold, copper mines and the Cordillera Mountains. Mines View Park in Baguio is around 5 km from Session Road. Baguio botanical garden and mention house is very near from this path.
WHAT TO DO IN MINES VIEW PARK –
Mines view park in Baguio you will see lots varieties of plants and flowers also a market with Souvenir shops. Souvenir shops are selling t-shirts, silver jewelry and wooden items.
In mines view Park if you want to wear local traditional dress or costume of Ifugso people you can wear for 25 pesos.
You can click pictures on horse as well they will give you a nice hat to wear. These horses are very colorful so you can enjoy taking picture with those.
And there is a good luck pounds so if you throw coins into the pond something good will happen with you May be.
So if you want to see the beautiful view and mountains of Baguio city you need to go by stairs going down. And take care while you are walking in stair maybe they are wet and slippery. You can hire a binocular for 5 to 10 minute by paying little money.
I am sure you will really love view from here, it’s really look very nice and very amazing. In weekends you will see lots of people here, you may be stuck in traffic for a while. If you love photography then this place is perfect for you because the view of this place is very nice and wonderful
If you want to buy good quality of strawberry and ube jam ,peanut butter and other stuff just go to Good Shepherd. This place is just near to Mines View Park in Baguio around 100 meters.
