Serendipity Fun Park (Australian ad) 1988
Serendipity Fun Park commercial from 1988 transferred from beta tape. I totally remember this ad as a kid and I recall going to Serendipity at least once and I especially remember the bumper boat ride in which I could not at all control and was stuck out in the water crying waiting for the attendants to get me out hehehe lol. Anyways Serendipity Fun Park was located along Devonport Rd, Devonport Tasmania and was popular back in the 80s and being referred to as Tasmania's Wonderland but has since closed down sometime I guess in the 1990s and a replaced by a miniature putt putt golf course.
87. Horsehead Creek, Devonport Tasmania
Back at Devonport, this time we chose to stay at Horsehead Creek.
The campground is fairly large and is located at the boat ramp with plenty of fishing options available off the pontoon and along the river.
There is a dump point directly opposite the campground. We chose not to use water at dump points and didn't use it.
The campground is Pet friendly
We also had excellent Telstra and Vodafone coverage
Cost is $10 payable at the info centre in town.
Our stay was 25th February 2017

In 2019 I was invited to explore the incredibly rugged NW region of Tasmania, known as the Tarkine (Tarkyna). The Corinna Eco-Lodge, located in the area of Corinna, would be our home base for the four days we would have in the area.
Anyone who is looking for the perfect off-grid experience to reconnect with nature and / or their loved ones should seriously consider this beautiful and magical part of Australia.

Snake Spotting in Tasmania - Black Pepper Abroad Ep. 021
To say we were excited to finally land in Tasmania is an understatement. There is something rather special about this state that draws us to it.
After departing the Spirit of Tasmania we were in Devonport, a small little coastal town of Tasmania. But before heading off to explore the state, we decided to spend a little time wandering around this town. It didn’t take much effort to find a pet-friendly place to explore, the Tasmanian Arboretum.
Surprisingly of all places, Tasmania is where we also first encountered a snake! There are only 3 snakes in this state and after a little research, we discovered that it was a tiger snake. It's safe to say we kept our distance.
Before leaving Tasmania, we hope to explore and uncover more of what Devonport has to offer!

Greens Beach Caravan Park at Sunset ... with a Hitch!
This was taken on the evening of Monday April 17, 2017 at Greens Beach Tasmania during a glorious sunset. However, as can be seen, the flight of the Bebop was not so glorious. It has survived so far and will live to shoot video another day.
For those of you that are curious as to where the takeoff position actually was, just cut and paste these co-ordinates into Google Earth and take 'Just a Ride'.
