☆Bits of knowledge〜Minoo Fall〜
Minoh Falls (sometimes spelled as Mino or Minoo) is a main natural attraction within the mountains of Minoh Park which is open to the public free of charge. It is 33 meters high with a 5 meter width and falls right before your eyes. Dating back a 1300 years in the Asuka Era (592~710), it was written in historical documents that En-No-Gyouja performed meditation under the Falls.
The Minoh Park is one of Japan’s oldest National Parks located in Minoh city which is north of Osaka city. You could reach there in 30 minutes by using a train from Umeda in central Osaka. The park houses 980 different plant habitations of lush green forest, 3000 insect species with an insect museum all along a picturesque hiking path.
The hiking path to Minoh Waterfall starts with a short walk North of Minoh Station. It takes about 45 minutes or approxiamately 3 km to walk up along the Minoh river until you reach the Minoh Falls.
The first part of the walk begins by passing through many shops selling Momiji tempura which are fried Japanese maple leaf sweets original to this place. Along the way you will pass by Ryuanji Temple with it’s pretty red bridge.
The walk up to Minoh Falls are worth a visit any time of year, surrounded with its refreshing green forest, and one of the best seasons is in late Autumn when you can see the beautiful Japanese red maples.

Japan Walkalong: A walk through Zama [unedited]
Zama (座間市 ) is a city located in central Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. On our 2nd to last day in Japan, we decided to venture outside the Tokyo for a low key walk around Zama.
Zama is also home to a U.S Army base. The footage in the video is largely unedited. As some maybe considering Zama as their next PCS [duty station], we wanted to post a video that mimicked a walk through this small and wonderful town.

SIGHTSEEING IN OSAKA MUSEUMS NATURAL HISTORY
This Sunday, we took a relatively short trip to the Museum of Natural History, located by Nagai Station in south Osaka City. It was... cute. As a child of the Smithsonian museum system (Air & Space all the way!), I have to say I was a little disappointed with the displays, and that it offers very little to those over 13 years old. I would have loved an exhibit on the volcanic activity in the archipelago or how earthquakes have shaped the Japanese islands, but it was mostly bugs and whales. ????????
If you're only doing a short trip to Osaka, I would skip this one. If you have children though, they'd probably enjoy it, even if they can't read Japanese.

Life in Japan: Trip to Maya-san (摩耶山の旅行) Part I
The movie is from yesterday 15th of September 2012. For a first time we climbed Maya-san (摩耶山) (part of Rokko mountain -六甲山 - massive) without the baby car! Going up we used the rope but we walked all the way down! Alex survived even though from time to time he had to go on hands. Now we are free to climb any mountain in Japan!
Tomorrow we leave for Tokyo for 4 days so I am not sure when I will upload (and make) parts 2 and 3. Follow us on twitter:

From Archives: Poland Trip 2014 - Warsaw Zoo
Last days were unusually cold here in Kobe, frost at night, wintry at day. To remind ourselves warm, still not too hot times at spring we were watching archive files from May this year. We found a trip to Poland Warsaw Zoo. Somehow there was no occasion to publish till now. Kids really had fun there! So here it is - a walk through Zoo guided by Maya and Alex.
Expect other archive movies from time to time :)
NYSTV - Watchers Channeling Entities Fallen Angel Aliens UFOs and Universal Mind - Multi Language
Were the Nazis in communication with entities that revealed technological secrets, allowing them to become a world super-power in a few years? The short answer is, you bet!
How else did a bankrupt nation after World War 1 almost conquer the world in a decade?
Join Jon Pounders of NYSTV (Now You See TV) and David Carrico (FOJC Radio) as they review ancient texts and retrace the rise of power in the Fallen Angelic Empire and how these entities have been nudging the development of the technological world and controlling society from behind the scenes.
Channeling, was also a big part of the Nazi Agenda. The Thule Society, headed by Henriech Himmler, Godson of the Duke of Bavaria as in the Bavarian Illuminati) went all over the world in search of the occult. We see glimpses of this in The Raiders of the Lost Ark: Indiana Jones Movie.

Listening is a more natural way of learning, when compared to reading. Written language only began at around 3200 BC, but spoken language has existed long ago.
Learning by listening is a great way to:
- increases imagination and understanding
- improves your listening skills
- improves your own spoken accent
- learn while on the move
- reduce eye strain
Now learn the vast amount of general knowledge available on Wikipedia through audio (audio article). You could even learn subconsciously by playing the audio while you are sleeping! If you are planning to listen a lot, you could try using a bone conduction headphone, or a standard speaker instead of an earphone.

SUMMARY
=======
Portugal (Portuguese: [puɾtuˈɣal]), officially the Portuguese Republic (Portuguese: República Portuguesa [ʁɛˈpuβlikɐ puɾtuˈɣezɐ]), is a country located mostly on the Iberian Peninsula in southwestern Europe. It is the westernmost sovereign state of mainland Europe. It is bordered to the west and south by the Atlantic Ocean and to the north and east by Spain. Its territory also includes the Atlantic archipelagos of the Azores and Madeira, both autonomous regions with their own regional governments.
Portugal is the oldest state on the Iberian Peninsula and one of the oldest in Europe, its territory having been continuously settled, invaded and fought over since prehistoric times. The Pre-Celts, Celts, Carthaginians and Romans were followed by the invasions of the Visigoths and Suebi Germanic peoples.
Portugal as a country was established during the Christian Reconquista against the Moors who had invaded the Iberian Peninsula in 711 AD. Despite attempts at independence since its foundation as a county in 868, only after the Battle of São Mamede in 1128, where Portuguese forces led by Afonso Henriques defeated forces led by his mother, Teresa, the County of Portugal affirmed its sovereignty and Afonso styled himself Prince of Portugal. He would later be proclaimed King of Portugal at the Battle of Ourique in 1139 and was recognised as such, by neighbouring kingdoms, on the Treaty of Zamora, in 1143.In the 15th and 16th centuries, Portugal established the first global empire, becoming one of the world's major economic, political and military powers. During this period, today referred to as the Age of Discovery, Portuguese explorers pioneered maritime exploration, notably under royal patronage of Prince Henry the Navigator and King John II, with such notable voyages as Bartolomeu Dias' sailing beyond the Cape of Good Hope (Cabo da Boa Esperança) (1488), Vasco da Gama's discovery of the sea route to India (1497–98) and the European discovery of Brazil (1500).
During this time Portugal monopolized the spice trade, and the empire expanded with military campaigns in Asia. However, events such as the destruction of Lisbon in a 1755 earthquake, the Industrial Revolution, the Seven Years' War, the country's occupation during the Napoleonic Wars, and the independence of Bra ...
