神奈川県清川村宮ヶ瀬で2018年11月24日から12月25日まで、高さ３０メートル超のモミの木に約１万個の電飾がライトアップされました。「第33回宮ヶ瀬クリスマスみんなのつどい」で、ジャンボクリスマスツリー発祥の地として知られ、毎年20万人もの人が見物に訪れるという。
水の郷の樹木にもおよそ６1万個のイルミネーションが飾られ、会場全体がまさに光のメルヘンの世界に包まれます。電飾されたミーヤ号でジャンボツリー間近までいけます。また、水の郷大つり橋はイルミネーションで光の道になりました。
