Sunny day for a climb to the top of the holy Mt Misen of Miyajima!!????????????Mount Misen is the sacred mountain on Itsukushima in Hatsukaichi, Hiroshima, Japan, and is the highest mountain on the island at 535 m; it is situated within the World Heritage area of Itsukushima Shrine. The sea around the island and all of the island are within Setonaikai National Park.

The Mazda Motor Corporation, founded in Hiroshima in 1920, still retains its corporate headquarters in the city of its origins. In addition to the headquarters, Mazda owns a large plot of coastal land which accommodates research and development laboratories, factories, and shipping facilities. The company museum and part of a factory are made available for public viewing.

Like Toyota to Nagoya, Mazda plays a large role in Hiroshima's economy. Although Mazda is not as large as Toyota, it still produces over a million cars a year and is an innovative player in the Japanese auto industry. For instance, in 1991 Mazda became the first and only Japanese company to win the Le Mans Grand Prix. Itsukushima (厳島?) is an island in the western part of the Inland Sea of Japan, located in the northwest of Hiroshima Bay. It is popularly known as Miyajima (宮島?), which in Japanese means the Shrine Island.[1] The island is one of Hayashi Razan's Three Views of Japan. Itsukushima is part of the city of Hatsukaichi in Hiroshima Prefecture. The island was the town of Miyajima before the 2005 merger with Hatsukaichi.

Itsukushima or Miyajima is famous for the Itsukushima Shrine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.[2] According to records, the shrine was established in the time of Empress Suiko. The warrior-courtier Taira no Kiyomori gave the shrine its present form. In 1555, Mōri Motonari defeated Sue Harukata at the Battle of Miyajima. Toyotomi Hideyoshi built a large building, the Senjō-kaku, on a hill above the shrine.

Momijidani Park is one of the most famous maple leaves valley parks in Japan. The park is located at the foot of Mt. Misen, along Momijidani River, behind Itsukushima Shrine in Miyajima, Hatsukaichi, Hiroshima.

Mount Misen (弥山 Misen) is the sacred mountain on Itsukushima in Hatsukaichi, Hiroshima, Japan, and is the highest mountain on the island at 535 m; it is situated within the World Heritage area of Itsukushima Shrine.[

宫岛的灵峰、弥山的山脚下,沿着红叶谷川蔓延的就是红叶谷公园。宫岛被称为神之岛,禁止砍伐树木。所以岛内的原始林现在也保存完好。虽然春天的樱花的时期也很好,但是到了秋天红叶的季节,大约200棵红叶树一齐变红,那自然之美能让来访之人都有一种视觉上的享受。往年的红叶的观赏期都在11月中旬至下旬。

宫岛的主峰·弥山的海拔为535米。“弥山原始林”被指定为天然纪念物，这是以针叶树为主同时混杂着一些南方植物的森林。这里也是可以观察到在自然生长状态下的山车类原始植物的地方。

Japan Travel: Kosanji Temple, Beautiful Onomichi, Hiroshima 16 Moopon

Kosanji Temple (耕三寺) located on Ikuchijima Island in Hiroshima Prefecture, has the tranquil qualities found in a Buddhist temple while displaying both modern and traditional Buddhist artistic elements.

Founded by Koso Kosanji, in gratitude to his mother, the construction of the temple took over 30 years. Within the temple grounds, visitors can appreciate the replicas of famous Japanese structures such as Nikko Toshogu's Yomeimon Gate and Byodoin's Phoenix Hall. In addition, within the temple is a long cave containing images portraying Buddhist hell.

Visitors are encouraged to visit the Miraishin no Oka or the Hill of Hope also located within the temple grounds. Though not having any religious function, Miraishin no Oka was designed and created by an internationally renowned sculptor using Italian white marble and granite.

Kosanji Temple houses other artwork including the works of Buddhist sculptors, painting, modern art and objects relating to Japanese tea ceremony within its main grounds.

By bicycle
30 kilometers from Onomichi, the temple is located along the Shimanami Kaido cycling route

By ferry
From Onomichi Ekimae Port (located in front of Onomichi Train Station), take the ferry to Sawa Port or Setoda Port on Ikuchijima Island. The journey will take 40 minutes with a cost of 820 yen one way per person and 160 yen for a bicycle. There are 9 ferries per day. From either port, the temple is 15 minutes by foot.

By bus
From Onomichi Station board the local bus bound for Setoda Port. On the way to the port, the bus will stop in front of the temple. The journey will take 1 hour with a cost of 1010 yen one way. There is one bus every two hours.
