Featured in a cult Hollywood movie, this izakaya is very popular among foreign travelers. It is cavernous with atmospheric Japanese styling.
The kitchen is in the middle of the restaurant, showing the chefs at work. Yakitori, or chicken skewers, is one of the most popular izakaya menu items. It is chargrilled and comes in sweet soy sauce or salt flavors.
Yakitori and sake are a match made in heaven. Enjoy the best chicken you have ever tasted.

In Miyazaki Prefecture, a scenic, semi-tropical region, renowned Miyazaki chicken is served in all sorts of ways, from chargrilled to raw.

4K 青島 宮崎県 Aoshima Miyazaki Kyushu JAPAN
Aoshima 青島 is a small island in the south of Japan and belongs to the city Miyazaki. The island is located east of the main island of Kyūshū.
The island is characterized by a subtropical plant society 亜熱帯性 植物群落 植物群落, of 226 species, which is one of the northernmost such populations and therefore was designated as the special natural monument of Japan on 29 March 1952.
Aoshima is connected to the mainland by the Yayoi Bridge 生 橋 and is ringed by white beaches surrounding a subtropical jungle at the island's center.
It is a 1.5 kilometer walk around Aoshima's beaches with a number of canvas stands selling souvenirs along the way. At the center of the island is Aoshima shrine 青島神社, a colorful shrine set back in the jungle that is said to bring luck to married couples.
The island is known for the rock formations surrounding it, which are known as the washboard of the demons 鬼 の 板 板, because of their long, parallel and straight furrows - as they can also be seen in the adjacent aerial image. Declared
as a natural monument on 1 May 1934. Geologically, they emerged 7 million years ago when the seabed rose and consist of alternating layers of harder sandstone and softer clay, the structure being formed by the stronger erosion of the clay by the waves.

When Nina (Nina Endo) wins free airline tickets, she leaves her dingy apartment and part-time factory job in Yamato City, Japan for Singapore with her friend Su (Sumire). Wandering aimlessly through the tourist district, they are underwhelmed by national monuments and return to the familiarity of giant shopping malls, selfie stick in hand. But when Nina loses track of both Su and her smartphone, she stumbles into a more unmediated experience with Singapore’s streets, food and people. Director Daisuke Miyazaki’s follow-up to Yamato (California) (JAPAN CUTS 2017) is a pleasantly lowkey riff on alienation and materialism within a globalizing society shot in pseudo-documentary style, replete with quirky dance sequences, Snapchat filters, ghosts and a mysterious child narrator.

Saito City in Miyazaki – Strolling around in the city of burial mounds
Saito City is a city located in Miyazaki Prefecture, Japan. It is the 5th largest city in the Miyazaki prefecture.
There are many places of interest in Saito. These include shrines, temples, museums and buildings of architectural or historical interest. Saito is most famous for Saitobaru which is a National Special Historic site and historical research site. Other notable places include Saito's Sports Center, Concert Hall and Irifune Eel Restaurant.
Saitobaru kofungun is a collection of 9 clusters of tumuli comprising 311 burial mounds which lay on a plateau roughly 4 by 2 km in size, making it one of the largest collections of burial mounds in Japan.

Miyazaki Shrine (Miyazaki Jingū) is the oldest and most important shrine in the city. The shrine is dedicated to Emperor Jimmu, who was the first emperor of Japan, it is said to have been established over 2600 years ago.
The shrine's buildings, constructed of simple, unpainted cedar, placed in the center of a large, quiet forest. Festivals and other events such as Japanese horseback archery competitions (yabusame) are held during the year on the wide path under the trees.
The Miyazaki Prefectural Museum stands on the same ground as Miyazaki Shrine.

1. From Miyazaki Jingu Station, it takes 5 to10 minutes by walk.
2. From Miyazaki Station, board a bus for Miyazaki Jingu. The one way journey takes 10minutes with a cost of 210yen.

Opus magnum or Great Work is an alchemical term for the process of creating the so-called philosopher's stone, attributed to ancient chemical processes that would allow the transformation of lead into gold. Alchemy as a proto-science, also sought to cure all diseases and discover the fountain of eternal youth. This is where the Myth begins. In its essence, the Alchemy would be a symbolic philosophical school that takes the resource of allegory to establish its objectives. Thus, transforming lead into gold means evolving the human being from his first stage, natural, to another spiritually superior through teachings that were leaving us Masters, or superior Gods in the past.
Likewise, the Philosopher's Stone, the elixir of youth, are no more than symbols of a much more psychological truth. In a hermetic way, alchemical treatises give instructions to obtain the greatest wisdom that a human being can reach, being the spiritual understanding among human beings some of its most important points for the final transmutation.
