Tokyo Katsushika Mizumoto Park autumn leaves

Mizumoto Park is a park in Katsushika ward, Tokyo, located at a convenient place about 25 minutes by train from Asakusa.
It is one of the famous spots in Tokyo where you can enjoy the autumn leaves.

The park is one of the largest parks in Tokyo with riverside scenery which is rare to find in Tokyo. There are 1,500 metasequoia trees planted in the park. People commonly imagine Japanese autumn leaves to be Japanese gingko trees but metasequoia trees at about 10m tall offers the sight of slim and tall trees with bright red leaves in autumn. They are definitely “red leaves to look up to.” Depending on the angle of lights, the appearance of turned leaves change completely and you can enjoy the sight of beautiful autumn leaves.

Tokyo is a big city but with a little expedition, there are numerous places where you can experience vast beauty of nature.
When you visit Tokyo in autumn, we recommend going on a trip to Mizumoto park and have a journey through the park to fully enjoy the vast beauty of autumn leaves.

Drive along the Edogawa 　Shibamata, Katsushika-ku～Yoshikawa Park～Mizumoto Park, Katsushika-ku

Follow the road along the Edo River.
It is a road that makes you feel like you have gone somewhere far away with little traffic and beautiful scenery.
Overall, the car width is narrow and there are some places where it is difficult to pass each other, but I think that it is a road that can run smoothly unless it is a big car.

Moreover, the ferryboat Yagirino-Watashi ship which connects Matsudo-shi, Chiba to the neighborhood of the Shibamata park as Shibamata which faced across Edogawa is uniquely existing in a metropolitan area.

The sound of the bustle and the half bell unique to a downtown area, the voice of a wild bird, and the ship of a hand stroke of Yagirino-Watashi is chosen as the 100th elections of the sound of Japan which wants to leave of the Ministry of Environment authorization from the Shibamata Taishakuten approach.

The monitor indicates 0.29 or 0.30 micro Sievert per hour in air at chest
hight, 3.60 micro Sievert per hour at ground level, on roadside mud.
Measuring instrument is made of Ukraine, ECOTEST MKS-05.
