Mkuze Game Reserve new home to the king of the jungle
Last year Latitude visited iSimangaliso Wetlands Park on the Kwa-Zulu Natal east coast. There was just so much to see and do that this week the team went back to this world heritage site to discover even more. Part of the Park, linked on the north-western boundary, is the Mkuze Game Reserve that after 44 years is now home to lions once again.

Today we drove to the Mkuze Game reserve and saw the following aninals. A white rhinocerous (rhino) and baby, giraffe, kudu, wildebeast, rock monitor lizard, leopard tortoise, and warthogs. The day was very windy and this distorts some of the narrative provided during the video clip. There was some interesting information regarding the fever trees that are in this area.

I've set up in Mkuze Game Reserve with the goal of tracking down a Pel's Fishing Owl, my latest Treasure Bird! However, the Pel's isn't the only thing lurking in the Fever Trees...
