Moclips Washington Pacific Ocean View Properties For Sale (Music by MEN AT WORK)
This property is approximately 64 acres of semi-developed property that is already divided into three 21 acre parcels with Pacific Ocean and Olympic Mountain views from the upper lots. It is gated, the highest elevation in Moclips (262'), with power running thru the property, many roadways are in and it is less than a mile from the beach. This is the last property like this in Moclips and a great financial opportunity for a developer, person or group that wants the ultimate homestead, getaway or investment. This property is located in Moclips, Washington just a few miles and a few minutes driving north of the booming and highly successful upscale development of Seabrook near Pacific Beach. It is also about 20 miles north of Ocean Shores, a very popular tourist destination which is also booming. The coastal area north of Grays Harbor County including Ocean Shores, Pacific Beach, Moclips, and between are expanding very rapidly in terms of property sales, construction, remodels, etc. Property values in these areas also seem to be skyrocketing. This property for sale is on the Olympic Peninsula within the Olympic Beaches Recreation Area and is absolutely beautiful. The Olympic National Park and the famous Lake Quinault Lodge are a short half hour drive from the property. The main appeal of this area is plenty of natural beauty, natural resources, open spaces, and fresh air with many rivers, parks and trails to enjoy. There are numerous outdoor activities available including hiking, sightseeing, fishing, and hunting or just relaxing away from the city life and the rest of the world. In Moclips there are beaches you can drive on, razor clams to dig, surf fishing, beach fires, picnics or just go on a walk and comb the beach. This property is owned free and clear and ready for immediate transfer. Contact us for more information or to set up an appointment for viewing. Much more information is available upon request.

Jefferson Cove to Mosquito Creek Hike, Pacific Ocean - Washington State
Jefferson Cove, located about one mile north of where the Hoh River meets the ocean is a magical place, where you are immersed in a natural world, unaltered by man. To get there you must wait for low tide when crossing slippery seaweed strewn boulders, but the destination is well worth the effort. The beach at Jefferson Cove is over a mile long stretch of fine sand, but does not have any really good camping spots that are well above a high tide surge, so if you would like to camp there, you really need to pay attention to high tide levels and the weather and choose your camping spot wisely. Continuing on to Mosquito Creek involves a several mile long overland route, with hanging ladders and ropes. It does not require technical climbing skills, but does require good physical fitness and balance. Much of the trail is in good shape, but you will encounter several muddy and slippery sections. Past Mosquito Creek is a world class sand beach that continues for miles. Spending the day strolling along this exceptional beach on a sunny day is one of the most enjoyable wilderness experiences available anywhere.

River Fishing Fight - Whose to Blame for Declining Salmon Stocks?
Fights over fishing and fish are common, especially when fish stocks are reduced but whose to blame for declining salmon stocks in North America? Is it me, you or them? Is it guiding, commercial fishing, First Nations food fishing gill nets, tourism, social media, fish farms, fish hatcheries, dams, el nino, la nina, globalization, sushi, sports fishing and the list goes on and on. Are we currently fighting over who gets to catch the last fish? Is it time to put our differences aside and think about the fish? What do you think?

Waitsburg, Washington
I decided to go to the city of Waitsburg in southeast Washington state. Here's much of the loop from Walla Walla to Waitsburg via US-12 to Prescott via WA-124 and back home.
The clips from Prescott to Valley Grove Rd via WA-125 didn't seem to make it home with me.
Keep in mind: I'm still scared as hell. This is only my 6th ride in my life. Recorded May 25, 2015.
