I was in Thessaloniki, Greece in 2009 and I would visit the local farmers markets twice a day. This footage was filmed New Years Eve and it was extremely busy. The main square had free concerts on and one of the songs they played was po po Maria se agapo (po po Maria I love you). I also met the owner of Tsaroucha restaurant who makes one of the best patsa soups ( tripe soup) in all of Greece. He showed me how its made properly. This dish is a Greek delicacy and a hangover cure for us Greeks and it really works. I am hooked!
