Caloundra beach - Sunshine Coast
Caloundra is fast becoming recognised as one of Australia's fastest growing holiday destinations. The township is located at the southern end of Queensland's stunning Sunshine Coast. The region stretches from the cool green of the hinterland mountains to the crisp blue and white of the beaches.
With its greenery, near perfect climate, easy lifestyle and ideal conditions which prevail it is renowned as the most southerly resort on the Sunshine Coast. Moffat Beach is the forgotten gem for tourists and one the locals like to keep to themselves. Moffat Beach is one of the beaches that you can bring a entourage and spend the entire day.
There is everything you need in one little spot and the restaurants and cafes are exceptionally good. Most places will allow you to grab something to eat & drink and head down to the beach to enjoy. Moffat is a relatively sheltered beach and doesn't have lifeguards most of the time due to the assumed safety of bay.
Whether you want to enjoy a picnic on the grass or sunbathe on the beach Moffat has it all and if you haven't been (lately) definitely make time for Moffat Beach... a lot of time.

Golden day on the Sunshine Coast, blue skies, blue waters, waves and surfers, with views that are stunning.
I sat at Dicky beach and sent the Mavic out over the nearby reef to watch a few Surfing and then sent it to Moffat Beach to see a few others and in between some magic views of Caloundra and Dicky Beach area.
