ANA introduces attractiveness of winter in Yamagata
Yamagata (Japan), Jan 24 (ANI): Yamagata Prefecture has one of the most beautiful sceneries of winter season in Japan. ANA (All Nippon Airways) introduces popular sightseeing places in Yamagata. “Mogami River Boat Ride” is an attractive activity that takes tourists down through Yamagata Prefecture’s Mogami River on a boat. It allows people to enjoy the majestic landscapes alongside Mogami River area while listening to traditional music. Mogami River has different faces in each season. Each trip to the river is different and provides one with a special experience. Also in winter, they offer heated boats or boats with “kotatsu” to keep passengers warm while enjoying beautiful Japanese scenery and tradition. Mount Haguro is the most easily accessible one among the three mountains of Dewa. At its summit stands Haguro-san Shrine, the only one of the three DewaSanzan shrines which is open all year long and is the most popular mountain tourist spot. There are several attractions located along the walking trail up Mount Haguro. One of the most symbolic spots is “five-storied pagoda” surrounded by cedars. People can experience the beauty of this centuries-old, unique Japanese wooden structure. The region has another popular tourist attraction. It is Kamo Aquarium, known for having the world's largest number of species of jellyfish on display and it has been certified in Guinness World Records. Another unique attraction point about this aquarium is its large jellyfish circle shaped tank with a diameter of 5m, making it also the largest in the world. Yamagata prefecture in Japan continues to attract tourists from all over the world with its wonderful winter spots, entertaining events, and culture.

【HD】新庄駅 入線・発車集！ Shinjo Station In Japan 山形新幹線・奥羽本線・陸羽西線・陸羽東線（発車メロディー：新庄まつり囃子）Max Making
本日は2019年10月15日に撮影した新庄駅の入線と発車をまとめた動画集をお送り致します。
新庄駅は山形県の北部の最上地方の新庄市に位置し、山形新幹線に奥羽本線、そして陸羽西線と陸羽東線の接続駅です。山形新幹線の終着駅でもある同駅では山形線（山形新幹線）と新庄以北の奥羽本線の線路幅や電気系統等が異なるためホームが分断されており、全国的にも珍しい構造になっています。上野駅みたいに列車を真正面から撮れるところは非常にワクワクさせてくれます。発車メロディーには「新庄まつり囃子（はやし/HAYASHI）」が使用され、奥羽本線（山形線）と山形新幹線が発着する1・2番線ホームで聞くことができます。（「囃子」最初なんて読めばいいのかマジで分かんなかったわ......）
休日には山形新幹線ではE3系700番台「とれいゆつばさ 」、陸羽東線ではキハ48形「リゾートみのり」も発着し、鳴子温泉方面への観光客が見られます。山形県に触れるなら「とれいゆつばさ 」、温泉旅行を楽しむなら「リゾートみのり」への乗車がお勧めです。さらに鳴子峡は秋が一番絶景だということです。他にも新庄駅からは秋田方面へのアクセスに奥羽本線（奥羽北線）、最上川舟下り等の観光には陸羽西線が打って付けです。
本編には山形新幹線のE3系2000番台（東京五輪ラッピング列車のE3系2000番台L72編成も本編に出ます！）、奥羽本線の701系0・5500番台、陸羽東西線のキハ110系100（原色）・200番台が登場します。新庄駅には他にも奥羽本線の719系5000番台と山形新幹線のE3系1000番台も見られますが、平日での撮影と時間の都合上それらの列車の動画は割愛させていただきます。
撮影の15日は台風19号の影響によりストップしていた陸羽東西線の運行再開日でもあります。実際に薄茶色に汚れた車両も見られ、東日本大震災以来で県内の鉄道が全線ストップになったということもあり、その威力の大きさが物語られます。
現在新庄駅ではシンカリオンのスタンプラリーが行われています。鉄道やシンカリオンが好きなお子さんと参加されてみてはいかがでしょうか？

First, Yamagata-Shinkansen goes to Yamagata and Tokyo. Travel for urban area in Japan and nature of Yamagata-Prefecture, I recommend you. The purple painting is the point. If you go so slowly, you can take train with green and orange line. Sightseeing for Mogami-River, you should take train from home No.3. For the travel with Onsen, you have to go home No.5. Home No.3 & No.5, there are trains that have same design, not to take another train of your careless.
Last one, the train with pink line is good to go to Akita.

Super Typhoon Jebi Heads for Japan as 20,000 Ordered to Evacuate Due to Flooding | Gift Of Life
Super Typhoon Jebi , a Category 5 storm, is forecast to hit Japan next week. Currently, the storm is spiraling off the coast of Guam, The Weather Channel reported. Jebi was upgraded to a typhoon from a tropical storm this week, as it gained 110 mph of sustained top wind speed within just 48 hours. Because the storm maintains maximum sustained winds of 175 mph and has 20-mile wide eye, Jebi is now considered the most intense tropical cyclone of 2018 thus far. Meanwhile, authorities in Japan ordered the evacuation of more than 20,000 residents in central and northeastern parts of the country on Friday, as heavy rains led to floods and warnings of landslides. The government issued an evacuation order for 7,965 people in the city of Nanao, located in Ishikawa Prefecture, due to the Kumaki River overflowing its banks, The Japan Times reported. In the town of Hodatsushimizu, in the same prefecture, 13,337 residents were ordered to evacuate as well. According to the Asian nation’s Meteorological Agency, the storm front is expected to move south through Saturday, hitting Japan’s eastern and western regions. Continued flooding and potential landslides have been predicted. Five people were temporarily trapped in the northeastern prefecture of Yamagata after a landslide blocked a road, Japanese newspaper The Mainichi reported. In the same prefecture, the Mogamioguni River flooded past its banks, leading to the collapse of a suspension bridge. Railway operations were also disrupted by the torrential downpour. Transport between Yamagata and Shinjo stations was suspended, as were Thunderbird and Shirasagi limited express trains to and from Kanazawa Station in Ishikawa. Although Jebi isn’t expected to be nearly as strong when it reaches Japan, it is still predicted to arrive in the country at typhoon intensity on Tuesday. Continuing into Wednesday, the storm will likely sweep north-northeast as far as Hokkaido, becoming a tropical storm. Already on Friday morning, 77 millimeters (3 inches) of rain was recorded within a single hour in the city of Wajima, Ishikawa, Japanese media reported. Fifty-six mm (2.2 in) in Kaneyam, located in Yamagata, were also recorded within an hour. Up to 180 mm (7 in) are expected through Saturday in northeastern and central regions of Japan, with up to 120 mm (4.7 in) in the western part of the country. As Jebi hits Japan early next week, significantly more rainfall flooding, high winds, battering waves and coastal flooding are expected in parts of the country.

余目駅は、山形県庄内町にあるJR羽越本線・陸羽西線の駅です。1914年9月20日に開業した庄内町の中心駅で、一日平均乗降人員は519人（2011年）です。そんな余目駅で、駅周辺や構内、列車の発着風景を撮影してみました。
Amarume station, located at Shonai Town in Yamagata, Japan, is a station of JR Uetsu main line and Rikuu west line. This station opened on 20th September, 1914 and it has a daily ridership of 519 passengers in 2011. I took this movie of station, vicinity and trains at Amarume station.
