Mojiko (or Moji Port) is a well-preserved historical port town and is the closest town in Kyushu in proximity to the main Honshu island of Japan, just separated by the Kanmon Straits. What's cool is the Kanmon Pedestrian Tunnel that connects Kyushu and Honshu. It's a 780m undersea tunnel and in the middle you will find the prefectural borders separating Fukuoka (Kyushu) and Yamaguchi (Honshu) prefectures, and is a rare example of a border not found on land!
