This Movie is about our trip to Korea's south west city called 'Mokpo.'
There is this really nice traditional Korean palace style hotel called 'Yeong San Jae.'(hotelysj.com/) The place it very beautiful although it's a bit pricy and you need to take a cap to get to anywhere due to it's rather remote location.
The second place we stayed was also traditional Korean style guest house but this one's more like regular house style.
Mokpo is very famous for it's delicious food especially seafood.

Yvonne Boag is the founder of the Korea-Australia project Cultural Conversations. As the best western artist to use Korean painting techniques, she has her own workshop in Korea and holds exhibitions on a regular basis. In Korea, Yvonne visited Mokpo, which reminds her of her home country of Scotland.
[Main Artist] Yvonne Boag
A Scottish artist who currently lives in Australia and creates art in Europe and Korea.
Her artworks are based on memories of her hometown in Scotland and her experience in Korea over the past 20 years.
[Brief Plot]
- Yvonne and her husband, Bob Jenson, visit Mokpo, a city where Korea's modern history lives and breathes. They visit the Modern History Museum and Yangdong Church to learn about history.
- Yvonne visits an old brick factory that was shut down 21 years ago. It was the most astonishing place in Mokpo for Yvonne when she visited the city for the first time.
- Yvonne joins local residents to paint murals in one of the oldest neighborhoods of Mokpo.
- Yvonne visits Mokpo Newport to see the remains of the Sewol ferry and pay homage to the victims of the ferry sinking. She also meets artsit Chung Tae-kwan and the two decide to draw something together.

회화, 드로잉, 판화 작가로 스코틀랜드에서 호주로의 이주를 시작으로 현재는 유럽, 한국 등을 오가며 작업하는 화가이다. 이본 보그의 작품은 자신의 고향인 스코틀랜드의 추억에서 최근에는 20년 동안 지내온, 한국에서 얻은 삶의 결정체이다.
[Brief Plot]
- 남편 밥 젠슨과 떠나는 한국 여행. 한국의 근현대사가 숨 쉬는 도시, 목포를 찾다! 근대역사관에서 시작해, 양동교회까지. 목포의 원도심에서 받은 영감은?
- 전남 목포시 온금동에 위치한 옛 조선내화 목포 공장. 21년째 가동이 중단된 이곳을 방문한 이본 보그. 처음 목포를 방문했을 당시 보고 가장 놀랐다는 이곳의 모습은 어떠할까?
- 서산동 벽화에 그려진 시와 그림. 이 곳에서 만난 목포의 주민들이 그리고 있는 벽화에 함께 하다. 하나의 벽 위에 다양한 사람들이 모여 그리는 작품! 이본 보그와 주민들의 콜라보레이션이 시작된다.
- 노란 리본으로 물든 거리 위에 선 이본 보그. 세월호 화첩기록화를 전시하는 정태관 화가와 만나다. 화백의 작업실에서 그려나가는 두 사람의 콜라보레이션이 펼쳐진다!

Yudalsan in Mokpo city is a not very tall mountain, actually a bit above 200m from sea level, easy to reach to the peak and nice view of the city and the sea side.
Mokpo national museum(목포 국새 박물관)
Mokpo Natural History Museum is located inside of Gatbawi Neighborhood Park which is one of the major tourism attractions of the southwest coast region in Yonghae-dong, Mokpo-si, Jeollanam-do. The museum consists of a natural history building, local history building and has a total of three floors, two of which are above ground.

Kim Woo-jin is (1897~1926 金祐鎭) a playwright. He was born in Jangsung Jeolla Province South Korea. His father, 'Chojeong' Kim Seong-gyu was Land reformers, astute reformists, bureaucrats and newly rich people at the end of the Joseon Dynasty.

After graduating from Mokpo Public Normal School, he went to Kumamoto Agricultural School and graduated from Waseda University in Japan in 1924.
He was the leader of the Korean new drama movement in the 1920s and led the Korea Playary Association, and the East Asian Theater Company. His plays have shown two sides to deeply embrace the problem of the hypothetical play, which was the mainstream of the 1910 play, and to expand the reform drive on a social level.
Kim Woo-jin left Korea's first modern dramatic play, accepting and introducing Western expressionism and literary theory. His work was influenced by Bernard Shaw's social-domination and Strindbery's expressionism plays. He is a critic who presented outstanding theories to the contemporary theater and literary circles with great insight and pioneering critical judgment, and is considered the first actor to launch a new dramatic movement
In 1921, When Kim Woo-jin, a playwright and student at Waseda University met Yoon Shim-deok who was the first Korean student at the Tokyo School of Music. Yoon Sim-duk was an outgoing personality and was known to have a tall, long-necked western style. She took part in a tour organized by overseas students
Then they fall in love with each other. However, the Korean society did not accept free love easily at the time.especially Kim Woo-jin was a married man with a wife and children. After studying in Tokyo in 1924, Yoon Sim-duk returned to Korea and was the first soprano in Korea. However, She has experienced economic difficulties and broke up with marriage. After fleeing from the scandal of becoming a concubine to a rich woman, Kim suggested that she joined Towol dramatic society and started working as an actress. She was also well received by recording the first Korean pop song. In 1926.8 She recorded the song 'Hymn Of Death’ in Osaka.
After record, Kim Woo-jin and Yoon Shim-duk went on a ferry ride from Shimonoseki to Busan and They were known to have jumped to their death together while passing Tsushima Island(Hyeonhaetan) at 4 a.m. on July 4.
At that time, the Dong-A Ilbo reported their suicide on August 5, 1926, in the section of society. Kim Woo-jin and Yoon Shim-deok jumped onto a ferry from Shimonoseki to Busan on August 3
At around 11 p.m. on the last day, a woman dressed in a lamb suit and a middle-aged gentleman threw themselves into the sea on the deck, but stopped and searched for their whereabouts.... but could not be found their whereabouts“
But there have been stories of their deaths still being questioned.
There are Kim Woo-jin Street and Kim Woo-jin Literature Museum in Mokpo, the background of his work.

오늘은 수요일이 아닌 토요일이에요! 원래 매주 수요일에 업로드 하고있는데 아무래도 브이로그영상이 요새 많다보니 먹방영상과 브이로그영상이 균형있게 올라가게 하기위해서 오늘 갑자기 올리게됫습니다!! 앞으로 3,4주정도는 수요일엔 먹방 토요일엔 브이로그가 올라갈것같아요! 오늘올라온 브이로그영상은 호텔델루나 촬영지인 목포근대역사관에 다녀왔어요!!친구들도 그렇고 요새 호텔델루나에 빠져있어서 꼭 가보자고 했었는데 이번에 가게되었습니다! 생각보다 싱크로율 짱이었어요! 덩굴도 너무 예쁘고 외관도 사진찍기 너무 좋았습니다!! 덩굴은 9월에 철거예정이래요!! 철거되기전에 꼭 가시는걸 추천드릴게요! 덩굴있는곳이 사진 되게 예쁘게 나온답니다!! 근대역사관들렸다가 주변에 예쁜카페도 가고 예쁜카페가는길에 흑백사진관에 들려서 추억도 남기고 좋음하루였습니다!! 오늘 영상도 많이많이 봐주시고 궁금하신점이나 개선할점이 있으면 댓글에 남겨주세요!! 하나하나 성심성의껏 답변해드리겟습니다!!
