Hundreds of people in Nicaragua have been evacuated or forced to sleep in the open air, after a series of earthquakes rocked the region around the Momotombo volcano.
It's feared that the volcano, 70 km northwest of the capital Managua, is about to erupt.
Motombo is close to the Cerro Negro volcano which began spewing ash and lava last week.
Many of those who are fleeing had settled in the region only recently after losing their homes to Hurricane Mitch.

After a night in which a series of earthquakes rocked the area around the volcano, the morning seems quiet.
But the tell-tale smoke billowing out of the mouth of this volcano may foretell worse to come.
In an area at the base of Momotombo, homes were levelled overnight.
This woman shows what remains of the house she lived in.
She says violent earthquakes forced her to flee and now she doesn't know what she will do.
In the town of Puerto Momotombo, many of the buildings are in similar conditions.
But, it isn't the first time these people have been affected by a natural disaster.
They are all survivors of Hurricane Mitch and they were resettled here after losing everything they had in one of Latin America's worst natural disasters.
Money from international aid organisations helped them rebuild there lives once.
Now they are being evacuated again.

I was in my home when I felt the earthquake from the volcano, I tried to leave and save my daughter when a brick fell on my head , so what I did was to throw myself on my child and cover her with my body. Then more bricks began falling, on my back, my arms. So I couldn't get up anymore with all those bricks covering my body.

Momotombo. That's the one acting up. They said it was Cerro Negro but now the tremors are coming from Momotombo. So it's Momotombo now.

The reason we want to leave Momotombo is because there are strong earthquakes and after all, it makes us nervous. Because the earth moves and the children get very frightened, as we do. We needed to be evacuated and we need the government's help.

Activity Friday and Saturday from the nearby Cerro Negro volcano which spewed lava flows and forced many to flee suggests Momotombo's activity could increase.
The Momotombo Volcano is only 12 km from its active sister.
These people are being taken to the La Paz centre with the few belongings they were able to salvage.
Officials in the area are taking the threat seriously and are moving people out.
Momotombo has erupted before - the last major event in 1610 destroyed the colonial town of Leon - and many still fear the anger of the volcano nearly 4 centuries later.
