Geocenter Møns Klint
Geological Museum, Moens Klint, nature resort, island of Moen, Denmark.
Møn is a lump of chalk, and 128 m above the sea, you are at the same time on top of the Danish chalk foundation. Denmark is entirely built on a platform of chalk hence the Cliff of Møn bears witness of the enormous forces that have created the country and the unique flora and fauna of the area.
The museum exhibits the fossil findings of the area.

Hey guys! This was so far our longest cycling trip to see beautiful white cliffs in Møn south of Copenhagen.

Møn is an island southeast of the coast of Zealand, in Vordingborg municipality in Denmark. The island is famous for its beautiful nature and its beautiful beaches.
The island's main town is Stege.
The island has a huge ravine where the sea is eroding the island. This mountain is called Møns Klint and reaches 143 meters above sea level.
Møn has a connection with Zealand through the bridge of Queen Alexandrine and the dam to Bogø.
Møn was included in the original Swedish requirements for Danish land abstentions prior to the negotiations that led to peace in Roskilde 1658
However, the claims were given early in the negotiations.
At the end of January 2007 a large race took place at Møns Klint. Rasmassas of sand, clay and stone created a new peninsula south of the island.
Area: 23,747 hectares (237,47 km²)
Population density: 49 per km²
Population: 11,731 persons (in the municipality of Møn, 2004)
Biggest place: Stege
Highest point: Aborrebjerg (143 m), at the mouth of Møn
