Sacred treasury At Cathedral of Saint Tryphon In Kotor
Kotor : St. Lucas's Church
Small, but very significant this romanic church was built in 1195. Until the mid-17th century church was catholic. It was then given to the Orthodox community. For a long time, Orthodox and Catholic masses were occasionally both held in this church. The iconostas of the church is the work of art of Dimitrije Daskal, the founder of the Boka Kotorska Rafailovic iconographic school, from the 17th century.
Just in right is the Lombardic Palace, once used as a Russian consulate. Lombardic (Italian) Palace (with inscription in Latin) is 18th century Baroque palace.

Kotor : St. Nikholas and St. Luka churches
St. Luka is the only edifice in the town that did not suffer significant destruction during the earthquake. The floor in the church consists of tombstones on the joint tombs of the citizens of Kotor, since until the 1830's burials were being carried out in the church itself.
The Serbian flag hangs from the facade of St Nicholas' Church (1909) in the walled town.
Natural and Culturo-Historical Region of Kotor (UNESCO/NHK)
In the Middle Ages, this natural harbour on the Adriatic coast in Montenegro was an important artistic and commercial centre with its own famous schools of masonry and iconography. A large number of the monuments (including four Romanesque churches and the town walls) were seriously damaged by the 1979 earthquake but the town has been restored, largely with UNESCO's help.
